Hello friends, I found some things that I want to share with you in my blog ( http://zodiacode1933.blogspot.com.br )have a job that I did in 2002 after reading two books about killer Zodiaco.Eu am open to criticism and observe other things that go unnoticed by me, because I can not speak english as you can see, can opine. I believe, finally, we’ll never know the truth of it all.
thank you
Marcelo

I don’t get it. Sorry.
ok, no problems!!:)

Anything to do with maths isn’t my strong point but I can see where ‘ALLEN’ is as pointed out in the z408 solution above. It reminded me of this thread started by Doranchak recently. He links to his site to explain and then there’s a few posts from some of us ‘giving it a try’.
There are other members on here that could give you a proper critique on the numbers so I won’t even try.
Marcelo, that’s quite extraordinary.
Allen was ruled out of the investigation by virtue of examination of his retained DNA, which spoils things a bit, but it doesn’t decrease my respect for the work that went into noticing this coincidence. It’s astounding!
I am sorry, but I do not see what you guys are talking about. Can you explain to cipher challenged people like myself? I am interested in the name ALLEN, but not as it relates to Arthur Leigh Allen

Mike – you don’t need cipher experience for this one, you’re probably making it difficult for yourself.
You can read, in the above plain text – the words "California" "Motorist" and "Allen" if you follow a path and allow repeats. In the text blocks which are green, for the first two.
Is it more than coincidence? No. It’s just one of those things.
(If you make the collections slightly bigger, you can group them so as to find my mother-in-law and the name of her dog, too.)
It’s cute though.
Dave-O may be along in a minute to give you some probability theory.
Once again, the virtue of actually reading something has benefitted me lol.
Here’s the link to Marcelo’s explanation of his theory from the page he linked to here. I’m going to read it now.

HA! That’s much better. Very clever. I have no idea of the significance of any of it but certainly a nice piece of work and not too convoluted.
If you start with the capital K at position six line one and go diagonally to the left you get K-a-n. Then up to an "e". So what is your point? I am sure when people start doing a word search puzzle on this they can find all sorts of things that will fit their own ideas. "Gaik" almost works out, too. Kane is also associated with "For(r)est Pines."
My two cents.

Okay,this link is a bit better,and clearer:

Anybody seeing the name ALLEN in the ciphers,or seeing clues that look like ALLEN, it’s always assumed to be possibly the work of ARTHUR LEIGH ALLEN. But what if there was another suspect in the case by that name? Turns out,There is, and he’s a TAURUS

I just don’t buy it ,you could spell out many, many word combos , that way, with that solved cipher.
I do not get the a,b =2 … e=1 on the other cypher on your site either though .
what is/was your level of education in math Marcelo ?
but , kewl looking z site you have down there in Brazil though. maybe he (Z) is there .

Yep and was thinking that from the start as well as ALA.
Thanks everyone, sorry for the delay in answer. The I can only say is that I have no intention of solving the case, it’s just another theory about this.I want only to observe that there is a pattern in the method used.
for example the word "EXAMPLE" E = 2 because it is repeated twice X, A, M, P, and L = 1, this is part excencial.
I believe that all coincidences point is added to reinforce my theory. Probability that the dates, the places, the driver’s license of the suspect appeared very small, at least that’s what acho. Well said Smith, the DNA test dismissed ALA, however, to think of all that a new way.If ALA was not the Zodiac, I believe, was at least very close to it but that’s just another assumption minha.Quanto to 340, as I do not speak English, can not try to break. Someone there might try to check it using the number 33, or the standard method I use. you know more than me about it, if they arrive at a result tell me. Ace, thanks, I have no background in math, Math is the universal language believe.
Again, I’m open to suggestions, collaboration and critical

You can find over 1300 different words that are at least 9 letters long if you use these rules:
1) You can look in any direction,
2) One "jump" (or gap) is allowed

If you think that one word in particular is significant, then you need to explain why all the other ones are not important.

Nice. That’s nearly as addictive as the semi pointless flash game ‘chain reaction’.
