I ran across this voice comparison of Eric Weil (as Bob Dylan fanboy) and "Sam" (later identified as Weil) calling into the Dunbar show.

I don’t honestly hear a huge similarity but then again the context (press conference vs. possible medicated ramblings) is quite different and the recordings would be about four years apart.

I think that’s entirely possible and probably likely, morf. Just thought it was interesting to hear the voices together. I do wonder if they ever confirmed Weil’s voice as being that as "Sam" and how exactly he was identified as the caller. Watching that Bob Dylan press conference, it’s not hard to imagine Weil winding up at Napa State Hospital.
