Thank you Sandy.
I’ve read your POI post and popped in some questions. Wow, there’s a lot to remember and your information is invaluable.
Thank you for sharing it and keeping it alive over the years. I can understand how some details might be sketchy whilst other ones will remain etched into your memory like they are fresh because they have made such impacts.
I am just so sorry that you have had to endure the unwarranted interests of someone who wasn’t man enough to just take no for an answer and leave you be for all these years, and also that you have been failed so many times by those who are expected to act when you needed them to.
It’s supposed to be different times now, but the current climates worldwide are still challenging the human behaviour. I have faith that the winds of change which are being blown will unmask the bad in our societies, much like how members of these forums are trying to unmask your stalker with evidences.
If you have never received an apology in general for that kind of behaviour, then on behalf of good gentlemanly folk worldwide- I apologise for the dicks in society that hide behind their own insecurities who give the rest of us a bad name.
Justice will be served on them, if not in this life then by their own conscience when they go to meet their maker.

The man who has been stalking me wasn’t anyone that I can think of who asked me out.

Come to think of it,there was a man from Vallejo around 1964 who pretended to be a doctor, he had his secretary ask if I would go out with him. I told her to tell him no, that I had a boyfriend. He had offered to give me a "free examination". I can’t go into detail about the examination, I did report him and gave his name to a different doctor in Oakland, that name was shown on the plaque outside of his office.
Looking back on that room, it had a lot of beakers lined up along the windows. It looked more like what I would think was a drug lab. It had one table like what Chiropractors use, his plaque showed he was a Chiropractor.

I was in my 20’s at that time , gullible and very nieve. That man had brown curly hair , about 5 ft 9 and sort of stocky. It was hard to tell, because he had on a doctors white coat. (He did wear glasses) I wonder how far back my medical records go, because that would have his name in that record? The doctor in Oakland asked for his name, because he said Chiropractors don’t do that sort of examination. He was the only person who looks like Honcho who wanted to date me. The more I talk about what went on in my life , the more I start to remember.

I’m seeing some relevant details to Zodiac’s crimes and actions in the 340 as I read it, which may be the route to understanding his techniques in constructing it. I’m keeping an open mind, still need to pursue avenues and pop down a few more rabbit-holes, but the question is- if what I’m seeing is determined through a logical and simple process, with construction and not some bullshit computer making funny patterns on the cipher sheet, then could I be onto something?

Well, without Zodiac or someone who knows how he created his layered cipher to say yes or no, any proposed solutions will always be rightfully open for criticisms and debate, which is what I will welcome when I’ve worked through this thing over the next few weeks or so and made a few tests, before I put up a working proposal to show what I’m doing, how I came up with it and why I think its worth pursuing. To me, what I’m doing makes sense when compared to some of the crap I’ve seen on TV, and how some authors have over-complicated Zodiac over time, thus masking his message even more by inadvertently (or purposefully) misleading and detracting from what his cipher really translates into, mainly because opinions get debunked by the experts whilst us amateurs are dismissed, only to find our theories led to something after all.

(If, by some weird irony that Zodiac or one of his kill club members could be reading this- test me on how the 340 cipher is used, masking it as it was back then by posting up the newspapers or magazines that I’m after (see relevant post request). If I don’t recognise it then what is there to lose/ Thy cipher would still be crack-proof, but let me close this rabbit-hole so I can hop into another as it’s a damn good puzzle. (Or, is this your intention? To waste peoples time by allowing this continue, so you still remain relevant? The Voynich Manuscript poses one hell of a challenge- go see that if you’re still into puzzles. Opening paragraph is navigation. I have time. I love puzzles. Feed me. :D )

Or is the cipher really still in use? No- you wouldn’t be that stupid- you would’ve made a new sheet but used the same techniques. At least, that’s what I would’ve done when Zodiac was no longer needed. What about the crew? Maybe some went to the highways of the 70s and Atlanta in the 80s? Can they be traced through the murderpedia body count pattern so plain to see, because they got careless and greedy? Or did you snuff them out like your movies?

I mean, they didn’t have the technology back in the 60’s that we have now, so why can’t the ‘experts’ on TV at least use technology relevant to what Zodiac would’ve been familiar with at the time? Like his intelligence and experience, along with pens and paper and creative thinking, maybe resourcing a library and using books? They didn’t have computers like we have today, so why use a bloody computer to try and crack the cipher now? (He ‘officially’ began in a library with poor Cheri- big bloody hint there as to his nature and way of thinking- he’s challenging the intellects, knowledge and wisdom that man creates through writing, an act that sets us apart from the animals so his statement might be, ‘She’s my first declared I want you to know about- follow the clues back and forth, looking through time, hence the watch?) So why use a super-computer that complicates everything and changes the messages and the hints he’s been giving us all along? A computer cannot understand context nor emotion.

Why over-complicate the Mt. Diablo message? Zodiac was telling everyone his territory is CA- stained into the earth with the blood of his victims in creating his legend and hunting ground. I’ve plotted his kills from Domingo to Jonny Ray Swindle (what’s the significance of the Valentine’s chocolates? Stolen from the Domingo kill?) to Bates (was that Jonny’s watch?) to LH to BRS to LB to SF/Presidio to Lake Tahoe to Gold Lake, then back to Kathleen Johns kidnapping, where he spent 90 minutes driving up and down the highway pointing to the North. Nice trapezoid! Follow the road and see what towns lie ahead. Then look where the sniper cross-hairs he used as a symbol, sitting on the devil’s throne and overseeing all as Google Earth reveals. (Maybe you were giving hints from that imaginary throne of yours as to where your burial grounds lay to your kill buddies? Or the good spots where you killed? Anything interesting through the pines while we’re at it?) I get it. CA was yours. The bomb was a hoax. I’ve read it. No honour as a soldier in killing kiddies. You saw enough shit in NAM. But, AnyonE borN of prosperous times (or durIng planting) To NAM can use your name, can’t they? Maybe it’s not exact, but I recognise it as a calling card to fellow brothers from the war, to hunt and rage a terror war on the civilians back home because they objected to the shit you went through and didn’t understand, what it was like as a soldier coming home to a fractured and changing world that began to hate you just as much as you already hated it.
Totally empathise on that score.
But was that enough reason why Bates had to die? No, there was more than just your anger. I read something about October 20th by a dorm. What happened there then? Or have I read that part wrong?

I’ve appealed on other forum about information concerning newspapers/magazines and the like which I’m after. The same goes for any Zodiac-related correspondences from 1963 until the arrival of the 340 cipher, particularly any missing letters as the main post asks. The reasons are leading to what I’ve done above, in trying to follow the paper trail Zodiac made and why he was so fixated on certain elements. When I delve into that frame of mind, it’s a question and answers thing- I use it as a tool to process, but sometimes it comes out a little dark. Apologies, but read between the lines and explore if you like. Just pop up Google-Earth and give a few hours consideration to plotting out the timelines and locations, and you will see why Zodiac was pointing to maps and Diablo. Then you might see his logic starting to unfold in his several-layered puzzles.

Sorry for rabbiting on again. Hard to slow down when the gears are engaged and won’t turn off. I guess you all know what it’s like when you think…what the fuck?
Been having quite a few of those recently, and the hints I’ve made are parts of the paper trail I’ve been following through the evidences given when trying to think like Zod the sod.

Any thoughts, feedback and exploration, as well as materials about missing letters/correspondence, will be greatly appreciated.

I’m seeing some relevant details to Zodiac’s crimes and actions in the 340 as I read it

But it hasn’t been deciphered.

I know matey, and that’s what I’m working on.
I have a motto- if it’s created by man then it can be broken by man. I live in the UK and own a Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ that’s 20 years old. Just Empty Every Pocket. It breaks a lot and I fix it a lot. I won’t give up on the old girl as she’s awesome and just keeps going. I’m a tenacious fker when I want to be and I won’t give up looking at this 340 as it’s a good challenge, just like the Voynich Manuscript and the Latin-inscribed sword puzzle (I forget the name, but it’s a prayer that asks for protection and forgiveness for killing in the name of God, and I remember it being on the same Google list for the top 10 unsolved puzzles like the VM and 340 are in).

The most important element regarding this 340 cipher is not the glory in solving it. It is owed to the victims’ memories and their living relatives to bring Zodiac to justice and closure for them, so it can be proved with evidence that he is presently rotting in prison (if he hasn’t died yet) for other crimes, if the name I see is to be believed and Zodiac isn’t lying when he says he has written his name down. (Or this guy could’ve been set up by Zodiac himself if it is a kill club as I’ve already speculated.)

I’m finding this rabbit-hole out of the ones I’ve been down before the most promising- I seem to be reading Zodiac’s story as I look at his communications and follow where he is pointing me. I now understand the relevance of the Mikado he is making, because I’ve taken time out to watch it on youtube and copy out the entire text from start to finish. It is layered in its meaning and too damn complex to write down. The name I’ve seen is a known Zodiac suspect already, which is why I’ve logged in tonight to check out his story as I am actually beginning to feel a degree of empathy for the son of a bitch, which contradicts how I should be feeling.

Shouldn’t I be excited? Just knowing what I’ve already read about this guy before I regarded him as a Zodiac suspect (which until this point, I will admit, had dismissed before tonight) is soul-destroying, when I compare it to the Mikado contexts he really wants us to see.

You cannot say you’re seeing some relevant details if you’ve not solved it! because, let’s be honest, you probably aren’t solving it!

Maybe I am wrong, but it’s worth exploring. And I take notes using pen and paper because it feels more personal and allows me to feel more of a connection with the material I’m looking at.

The Zodiac is also a tool I use for learning- today for instance, I was learning about The Presidio, San Francisco and its history because we all know Zodiac had something about maps with his radians etc. Did you know that Vallejo was named after Mariano Vallejo, who was born on 4th July 1807?
Notice something else about that date relevant to the Zodiac case besides the fact it’s Independence Day?
I always thought that Zodiac did BRS on 4th July because of Independence Day only, as that indicated to me he was at war with the USA, who is The Mikado in his narrative. I haven’t come across any of that contextual information on any Zodiac investigative site before, nor in any of the articles relating to it, so I plead ignorance if that point has already been made by the many suggestions concerning the case. With Vallejo sharing the same birthday…well, its could add deeper context into Zodiac if one is serious about solving his riddles.

So, instead of being a critic, just try thinking out of the box when it comes to Zodiac.
