Yes, I’ve seen this behavior from said user at three Zodiac sites. Same formula each time:

This place is certainly not to post such content-free comments. They distract from continuing with the case, which is inacceptable, imo. For the article Tom posted, it showed very well how extreme the counterculture had actually been that time.

Uncle Adolph’s grandkid is just upset because I pointed out previously to him that his attributing a comment to the wrong person while displaying an overbearing, heavy-handed tone while doing so, isn’t exactly a mark of intelligence in my book…and now…whoops, he’s stepped in it again.

But to get this back Z-focused…there is NO logical reason a person in Vallejo wouldn’t be able to QUICK(TRADER)LY find out where the Mayor of SF resided, even in 1969. Simply opening one of any number of newspapers readily available might suffice…

Except there’s no mention of the Mayor in the Zodiac case at all, let alone in any of his communications. You’re only making this point to speciously attribute the Oceanside case to Zodiac. It doesn’t constitute proof (as in, there’s no evidence for it–in fact, you can Google Zodiac + Mayor Alioto and it returns next to nothing), therefore it remains in the realm of supposition. While Zodiac may have known where the Mayor lives, he neglected to mention it in his subsequent letters, therefore it doesn’t seem to mean much to him.

Zodiac may have been involved with the Ray Davis murder, but any concrete connection has yet to be made. However, there’s equal if not more likelihood, that Zodiac was copying the Paul Hom attack twelve days before the Stine murder, wherein the robber demanded the taxi driver take him to Washington and Locust, and then into the Presidio, whereon the attacker escaped.This robbery had similar pick up and drop off points, enough that SFPD remarked on it (originally thinking it was a dry run for Zodiac).

What’s to say Zodiac didn’t read about the robbery in the news and adapt the MO? Again this is supposition, not fact (i.e. in the realm of legitimate possibility). One case doesn’t preclude the other, yet there’s no concrete proof for a connection to either atm.

Ofc, there’s a fairly transparent supect-led agenda behind asserting that the Stine attack was to get at the Mayor.

It’s a pity that so many smart people have educated themselves about the facts of this case, uncovered important leads, and then just start posting invective about each other

The point of this forum should be to gather and share information in order to bring justice for the seven (known) victims of this Zodiac madman. I think the insults and self-aggrandizement on this message board do not promote the pursuit of that justice. Thankfully the negatives only detract minimally.

I truly believe this message board will be a prime mover in solving the case. I hope the name-calling and personal attacks don’t delay the solution to this mystery.
