Hi I’ve recently been looking at this case in detail. I’ve watched and read alot of crime documentaries over the years and I have a great interest. I saw that the transcripts have been solved but I thought maybe it could be possible we have been looking at it wrong
the zodiac was completely precise in the amount of symbols/ letters he wrote to the police and the papers. He mentioned after life and death and from my knowledge of other killers, doesn’t mean it is completely linked, they talk about the use of the bible.
numbers are significant if you see it from this perspective. I’m not highly religious but I know basics.
so I did more research into the numbers
340, 408, 13, 32 and I found something interesting and it seemed to coincidental to form what could be a sentence
340- to restore
408- the key to success
13- lawlessness
32- balance and duality
put these into A sentence form and you are left in the result of,
to restore the key to success, lawlessness valence and duality you can take the idea of missing letters or words and apply it to it
I think this could be another place to start to see if it is a key
the word duality caught my eye as well as it’s usually a word said to be a double side of a coin the letters that were received were one sided. You can take this in many ways. To decipher the unknown lines could you possibly put the letters back to back and see where each word lines up with the unknown symbols. Or could you take it and personify it. Double side. Two people. Could this be a possible double act so there is not just one. For example one does the writing one does what has to be done next
I do believe the numbers are too specific and the translation be also too specific to ignore but this is just my opinion
Also maybe it was all a game to the zodiac and the name will never be found

I had seen somewhere someone did a similar thing (a serial killer I can not remember his name) I went through the different numbers, the first ones I decided to do I tried 40:8 as that is how segments are written in the bible and I wanted to see what that came up in the bible I thought it didn’t come up with much so I decided to type the meaning of 408 in the bible and in the biblical meaning it says the angel number of 408 is the key to success, that is what first caught my eye so I decided to do the same with the other numbers
the next one I tried had been 340. I tried again the first 34:0 but that didn’t come up with much again so I decided that I will do what I did before and researched what does 340 mean in the bible. The results were that it meant to restore and restoration- it also originated from the Greeks, some of the symbols he wrote in his letters were in fact Ancient Greek. The link again interested me.
for the next two numbers I repeated the process. And the number 13 symbolises rebellion and lawlessness. Which in the time when the killings started people did start questioning the law and its approach to the people. And finally for 32, again the same process, first of all the number 32 is mentioned frequently in the bible and the main one being the 32 angels who came down to bring messages to the people, usually to manifest your desires. It depends on how far your beliefs lie. The number 3 signifies manifestation and number 2 represents balance, alongside diplomacy too. When you put these two together to make the ‘sacred’ number of 32 you are met with
‘Balance’ and ‘duality’

I decided after bringing all these numbers together from the letters they almost created the clear sentence which you could in itself take as a message. The use of numbers is extremely powerful in society they have very strong meanings behind them and I do believe sometimes they are overlooked
It wouldn’t be surprising if Zodiac was working some sort of number system like Gematria. The numbers 888 and 555, both Kabbalist names for Christ and Jesus appear to turn up in Zodiac communications. Yet these systems are notoriously flexible in interpretation, making deciphering their esoteric meanings extremely difficult, if not impossible.
Yet, we already know that Zodiac is keenly interested in encipherment, and something numerology is related to this. Gematria is literally a bible code. And therefore, these interests might give us a clue to Zodiac’s identity, since these aren’t everyday interests.

If your interpretations are correct, then the Zodiac’s IQ must be well into the genius range to plan out such elaborate encipherments.
