https://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMyst … uths_what/

Only two years ago Tim Holt comics were being used to support the claim Gaikowski was the Zodiac.

No complaints from team TV. Anyone got a link to a Gaikowski supporter saying this was misleading?

As you can see they were focused on page 14 of issue #30. Something that had been going on for quite some time, BTW.

www.zodiachalloweencard.com has a 400 paged book for free containing the super solution with an overarching explanation of the cards and more.

I don’t have a "team," nor am I responsible for anything that happens at reddit, nor do I believe the Holt comic has anything to do with Gaikowski as the Zodiac.

You’ve got serious mental problems.

LOL, he thinks I’m in the Navy and am trying to discredit his suspect because he was in the Navy. He was going to report me to the Navy, not sure if he did. I’ve never been in the military of any kind, LOL.

Bryan Hartnell and Cecelia Shepard were Seventh-day Adventists. Their church was very strict about what they could read and watch. Zodiac was not on their radar.

Wouldn’t that be all the more reason to ask about the symbol, though? And, how do you know they followed the guidelines of their church strictly? There was a box of unopened condoms and a dirty joke book mentioned in police reports that were found at the scene.

In spite of what he told reporters, it’s pretty obvious from the police interview that Bryan wasn’t much of a believer. "I told her I sure as heck wasn’t going to have any deathbed conversion." Yet he went on to work for the SDAs.

It was a partially used box of condoms and a Playboy joke book.

Neither were known to follow the Zodiac case or even mention it.

Right, so that begs the question, wouldn’t you ask about the symbol? Hartnell’s whole reaction was weird, though…you’re held at gunpoint and you think, "Gee, I might get a paper out of this." WTF? My fight or flight reflexes would have kicked in immediately. I would have been looking for an opportunity to take the guy down and get ahold of the gun, not psychoanalyzing him.

According to Bryan, he had the chance to do it, Cecelia didn’t want him to, then Zodiac backed away and that was the end of it.

Did anyone ask Bryan if the condoms and joke book belonged to him?

If not, they may had to have been left by Zodiac (in which case they need to be examined for dna and fingerprints if not done already)!

I was thinking the same. We can’t assume they had nothing to do with Zodiac even if there was no apparent sexual motive to his crimes.

According to Snook’s report, these were handed over by Dennis Land — NOT taken directly from the crime scene, as Land had made a hash of it by bundling everything up — and tagged as evidence, along with an "army type" jacket, the clothesline, and a "multicolored blanket." They weren’t lumped in with Hartnell’s possessions. I would like to know exactly where Land found all those things.

However, the book and condoms are redacted in the copy of Snook’s report on Voigt’s site. Usually, reports are redacted to protect someone’s privacy, or to conceal information that’s especially sensitive to the investigation. (Even Toschi’s name is blanked out in most of the FBI files.) Yet, an unredacted copy can be found on ZKF. Maybe someone else can weigh in on that.

A bottle was processed for latents. Anything Land handled was most likely covered with Land’s DNA and prints, and, of course, we have the pics of the Napa cops handling the clothesline without gloves on.

I originally obtained the Berryessa report and redacted the info about the condoms. Butterfield got a copy of the original report from me.

Redacted per request or personal reasons?

Seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

This is actually a great point. Has Hartnell ever confirmed the condoms and/or joke book were his?
