I don’t know why I’m surprised that Z would have been so impacted by comic books. I recall uncles, cousins & friends, who grew up from the late 1920’s and into the 1950’s and they collected huge volumes of comic books. So it seems maybe Z was into the Western themed comics, and probably those thousands of B Western themed movies. Interesting, certainly an endless research opportunity….I tired to look up a Tim Holt Fan Club listing, I’m sure in his day it was huge but I haven’t found one referenced as yet.
