There’s a bit of buzz online recently that Napa County SO will be making an announcement regarding new information in the Zodiac case. No word on what exactly that information is.

Where have you read this?
Unfortunately, I can’t be too specific right now, but suffice to say that there has been discussion of this on the Facebook Zodiac Killer page as well as some high profile posters on Tom’s site. From what I can gather, it has been independently confirmed by four separate sources.
Let me underscore that this is just rumor and there is nothing online indicating anything. I just wanted to know if anyone else had heard anything?

I think I can guess what this is….
They have a partial DNA profile which they are pretty sure is from Zodiac and they can now safely conclude that he was white and a male 
I think then it would be the SFPD or Vallejo PD making the announcement as I don’t think Napa PD have a DNA sample
There are rumors it could be related to Kenneth German.
Or the whole thing could be BS…

Do you have any idea as to how to rumours started? I’ve just sent an e-mail to a contact I have with the Napa PD to see if he knows about anything. I’ll keep you posted if I hear anything.
Hopefully good news. I doubt they’d hold a press conference for a disappointment.

Yeah that makes sense. I just wondered if you had any specific revelations in mind. Excluding the car door there is little forensic evidence in the Lake Berryessa case.
A development would be great. Do you have any legit sources?
