Let me explain the “die” reference before it gets out of hand. Zodiac didn’t explicitly use the word “die”, he used 3 ciphertext characters to represent the word die. But the author of the Desktop Poem, Confession Letter and Bates Letters all used the phrase “to die” in close proximity to one another. The Desktop Poem is only 46 words in length (including the title), and the 3 Bates letters were only 8 words in length. Yet both these communications had one thing in common with each other and the Confession letter. They all contained the phrase “to die”, suggesting that it would be very unlikely for two or three separate authors to have created these communications, in absence of these being published in the newspapers at the time.
There are also many more linguistic parallels between the Confession letter and Desktop Poem. The Desktop title has “sick”, “unwilling” and “to die”. The Confession letter has “sick”, “willing” and “to die”.

@richard-grinell I’m not going to throw her under the bus by naming her, she’s still a source of mine.
Please pardon me for butting in here. I’m just curious how good of a source a hoaxer could possible be.
@cz85 Well, just don’t take her at her word. I met her back in 1998 and she had an amazing collection of Zodiac stuff that was not in the public domain. I saw it firsthand. And she got it because of who she was and who she had worked with etc.
@cz85 Well, just don’t take her at her word. I met her back in 1998 and…
This is funny to me, it insinuates that @tomboyoit should be taken on just his word. As if his word carries any currency. One word, CCK.

Wow…you’re still upset that I wouldn’t tell you stuff about Chester Clark Klingel? That’s not healthy. At least you’re not still lying that I ripped you off. So, baby steps I guess.

I knew you’d bite.
Your predictable. Would you like to know why? Because you’re the definition of egomaniac. I’m not trying to be condescending or funny here. It’s truth. Review the signs below.
The seventh sign, one not shown on the list below, is “they like to demean and belittle other people”.
Sound like anyone you know?
@TomToight, you’ve nailed everyone one of the signs.
Regarding your lying comment… We both know who is the liar. And what matters more than proving it to you again… (with pics remember? Pics of your emails remember?) is knowing you know it’s you. And that’s why I smirked when you mentioned your credibility.
By the way, you know I’m still on your site right? I had a second account made before you kicked me off for calling you out and before you erased the comments. I thought you might so I hedged my bets. Being a member makes it easier to go directly to the unread comments rather than start from page one. That’s the only reason. Happy hunting.
Ta Ta @mommoight
I read you didn’t care if someone misspelled your name right?
Please don’t respond, it would be… predictable.

*You’re
I can’t find my Michael Jackson eating popcorn GIF.
It’s funny — I’m supposedly the one with a big ego, yet this “dude” guy thinks I care if he has an account at my forum.
Well, I don’t.
And he has claimed in the past that I ripped him off for $200.
Well, I didn’t.
And it all stems from him being mad that I refused to tell him certain pieces of info about Chester Klingel.
Well, I’ll be glad to! But it’ll cost you $200.
@tomvoigt, I mean @domdoigt.
Are you done venting? I wanted to give you the time you needed to work through your feelings before I respond.
I have been thinking about it, when you started your website it was very cleaver, new, fresh and I’ll admit, extremely helpful to centralize the Zodiac case online. Credit to you. Like a modern day Graysmith, you reinvented the zodiac case.
Reading through older posts, those early years you seemed insightful and energized. Now, you’ve traded those for egoistical and argumentative. A jerk. Someone who some try to please and others stay the fuck away. (Some soul searching could be done here) But what is most apparent is, somewhere along the way you stopped being fresh, helpful, innovative, and others started filling that role. You then receded into your current self created position of authoritarian. And have stayed in that rut for years.
You stole $200 bucks and you know you did. That fact that you don’t own your shit makes you a liar, and some descriptors. And I could give two shits about CCK. He’s a dead end that you created through your faulty investigative work (Please don’t tell me about how the DOJ got involved, I’m so over hearing a headline to a story you refuse to tell. Not because I want to hear it, but because I know it will be bullshit. You know, you won’t tell the full truth)
@chomchoighyt go back to your kingdom, where you can decide what is agreeable to tom toigt and erase the rest.
Where guys like me won’t embarrass you on your own site.
Where you are free to sensor what gets said.
