I want to add a note here. At some point (coming soon) these ciphers become quite a bit harder, requiring multiple step decryption, and also requiring the use of the clues from the previous cipher(s). So just a heads-up. The last cipher I posted was #10, and there are a total of 38 of them. Just a forewarning.

Got root on UNLV workstation using this simple trick
Thanks for the forewarning. I’ll hang in there as long as I can. Not sure how much longer that will be, but I’ll have fun trying.

I hope they all get solved, by you or whomever, but they do get much harder. The answer to the previous was: CONTROL-C.
Here is the next cipher (11 of 38):

If no one has solved it in one month, I might post a clue. Maybe. Please don’t take one month. I solved it. It’s solvable.
(Keep in mind that Kevin Mitnick was a PHONE hacker. That’s a clue too many, lol.)

I don’t believe in monsters.
I’m going to post another clue. I don’t know if the last cipher is unsolved because it is TOO HARD, or if it is because NO ONE IS TRYING. But in any case:
I think it might be useful to solve these, even though they do not directly relate to the Zodiac’s ciphers at all.
