Kevin Fagan, San Francisco Chronicle.
Great Article on the sad 50th Anniversary of Z’s first confirmed killings. Vallejo, CA would never ever, be quite the same…

Hi,

Good article. I told Kevin he has to write an entire expose on the DNA in order to do it justice. I can cite lots of scientific evidence (and have in the past, as did Lyndon in his book although he only presented the raw facts about his conversations with Alan Keel) as to why it is much less than likely that DNA will ever solve this case based on the research that SFPD itself did. It is funny that official sources hide in the shadows when they say disparaging things about DNA. (See the source that won’t identify him- or herself that came forward last January to say there isn’t any ZNA and there never was.) Maybe it is something about not "parroting/toeing the company line" and being too truthful? But at least this one admitted that all they have after some 20 years of DNA science being applied to the letters are "bad crumbs"of DNA lol. The problem is that most people don’t stop to ask themselves WHY there are only "crumbs" of DNA if it going to solve the case. I won’t bore anyone by repeating the reason again. But you can look it up in other threads on DNA!

As for those of you still waiting for DNA to solve the case…keep holding your breath!

Has that imposter New Year greeting card been released before?

I’m a bit concerned for the safety of those documents in the "Zodiac cabinet" at SFPD! Hope the cabinet is fireproof, at least.
