Some Zyncronicity…

I spotted this letter on Ebay a couple months ago, and the writing caught my attention, seemed to remind me of the ‘Count Marco’ letter that Zodiac sent, and since it was mailed from Vallejo in 1972, I decided to buy it just in case. Figured I could show it to Trav and get his thoughts. I was dissapointed that there was no letter inside, but oh well. It’s pretty neat, but I don’t think it’s really from Z,but that writing is real odd like the Count Marco writing. The phrase ‘printed matter’ also looks z-like

Something you want to tell us , Morf? Do you have a side hobby in collecting German-addressed Envelopes? :D
I have to ask, why on earth was someone Ebaying this item? Did they claim it was z-related?

The Zodiac watch company was located at 15 W. 44th St. in New York.

My POI lived in an apartment on 43rd St. from 1958 to 1966 or 1968 and had an art studio on 44th St. less than .5 miles from the Zodiac watch company.

It would be interesting to see what comics publishers were located near that location (15 W. 44th St.) during the time of the Zodiac murders…

Great find..with Z being a possible CB buff, his nickname indeed could’ve been Zodiac from such an appareil..

Didn’t we recently have a discussion about a Vallejo guy, living close to Ferrin & the police station, with an antenna on his house?

The Zodiac albums were recorded by Mort Garson and early expermenital musician who was one of the first to use a moog synthesiser. He also recored a Black Mass Album by Lucifer and "Sensuous Lovers" by "Z". He died in SF in 2008.

Good pull on the Zodiac music history, Jay St. — interesting!

Good find!

If Zodiac ever joined a Z forum, I’m sure he would have been banned for not following forum rules. Zam’s/Quote

So I was in Vallejo last weekend and stopped at Magazine and I-80 to get a Starbucks. The Terry’s restaurant that Darlene worked at has been torn down and a little shopping center with a Starbucks, Subway, gas station, convenience store and some thing else is now in its place. As I climbed out of the car I noticed a unique symbol on the buildings and had to take a photo. I have stopped at this Starbucks before and just never noticed. I wonder if the owner of the complex is the Zodiac?

Yike Scared Kid….probably is just zynchronicity, but bizarre nonetheless.

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969
