The premise sounds like everything I hate about the current wave of true crime media: murder as entertainment, grief as fodder for the foisting of brands. Granted, this kind of thing has always existed, as has the accompanying tawdriness, but lately, I feel like the dignity of victims, reverence for the loss of life, and a respect for the legal process have all been dampened, if not excluded entirely.

I admit to liking My Favorite Murder and Last Podcast on the Left which for many people is disrespectful and I get that, but this show is just idiotic.
