Thanks Tahoe, yes, that was what I was referring to, and no, I don’t think they noted any evidence of sex.
I also don’t recall any specific mention of Z specifically degrading women in his communications. The original CJB typed letter is about the worst, if we are to assume it was Z. And he was new to the whole crazy letter thing, yet he still used terms like "female parts" and "breast." I am sure in in 1966 there were some great slang words that would have been more appropriate for a woman hater.
"Slut" seems out of character to me, and thus not a likely solution.
