I thought the reporter said Myers had been added to some jurisdictions’ suspect lists? It seems to me comparing prints would be one of the first things they would do. I will go back and double check, though. Maybe I misheard what Noyes said.

Louie Myers, former Vallejo Home.
(current residents living there, now)

And what his home, looks like now.

That does not look at all like the house that is at Trulia.com I think you got an image of the house next door.

Thank you Seagull, for catching that. I looked at the address incorrectly & appreciate your help. This Photo below must be what it looked like, before a fresh coat of paint to sell.

As told to me:

*Did & delivered drugs, heroin, stole off the top prior to delivery.

*A friend thought he was a bit crazy, and a scary type of individual.
he was always nervous around him, because he had a volatile side
and could go off at the drop of a hat. People were on guard around
him. Wasn’t the type of person to hang out with. because trouble was
always near.

Still think the above is interesting. Volatile yes, but he could still be able to plan out things in advance. No, I’m not saying he’s the Zodiac, but it is very interesting.
Also, to me he looked older in his class photo. I’m wondering since he was 18 if he stayed back a grade or two, still trying to confirm which class he graduated or if
he did? Being skinney, maybe the in thing was to wear layers of clothes to disguise their looks & appear larger like Mike M. did.
Oh, and he also always wore a long coat, to appear taller?

Here is his military photo and records as shown on the KGO7 link:

Well, it’s getting a lot more people talking and sharing stories. Perhaps more tips will come in, but who do they tip to, and is anything really looked at?

It showed him going into the service, during that time was the war and they were giving crimes doers the choice of jail or service to the country. Looks like he choose service to our country.

One of the things I found interesting about the photo of Myers was his hair style. Mike M. had made the statement that the killer’s hair was a pompadour hairstyle and Myers hair style was such. The other two claims in the series I found interesting: 1) the circle and the cross-hairs represented the Celtic Cross and 2) On the inside of the the Halloween card, "4-TEEN" was a clue to look for a teenager. I am not convinced, but it is interesting to think about.

Some things I am curious about:

1) From pictures, it doesn’t appear that the Myers home @ 468 La Jolla has a basement, but I am not entirely sure, would be interesting to know.

2) Would be interested to know what make/model car Myers drove or would have had access to.

This guy would have been 15 years old in 1966 – thus I think there is no way he could have been the Bates killer or the letter writer. He would not have been able to own or drive a car alone, so no way could he get back and forth to Riverside.

As for being only 18 in 1969, I won’t say it is totally impossible, but it does contradict ALL of the witness statements, which we know run from 25 to 35 on the young range and 35 to 45 on the older range. I don’t see how an 18 year old kid could be mistaken for a 28 to 35 year old man.

Thanks Zam. I agree with the friend quoted there – that Myers did confess but it was false.

Aside from the major conflicts of age and appearance, as he was inducted in to the army on Jan 1971 he could not have written the March 1971 LA Times letter or the Pines card.

I do have strong feelings for Vallejo, and Louie Myers is a Vallejo guy. As far as Kenney, I say let’s see what happens, I never heard he was in it for the money. As I understand he promised Louie to tell his story, after he passed away. So, let’s see where the cards fall. Am, I saying Louie is the Z, no! But I’m aware of some things Louie was involved with, that weren’t model citizen material. And no, don’t alway’s think we need to make jokes about everything. The jokes get old, when we are trying to research. And, also if Kenney wants to come here and tell his story, I would like to welcome him to do so, without the jokes

Thank you Zamantha: Somebody has go to be the Zodiac, I personally don’t think this guy is out for the money but lets at least hear the guy out. It’s got me a bit curious.

I think with someone like this wanting to write a book…he is in it for the money. What more can possibly be said about this case? The families are not going to take money from this man. Is he going to donate it? I imagine we’d hear all about the money it cost him to write it, etc. etc.

If he wanted to do the honorable thing, he would have turned this man in.

Thank you Craigfitzer,
Nice to have someone else on the same page. People can have so many opinions, but I rather see how it plays out.
