Yes, I realize some of these are found on line. But it’s much more fascinating to actually see copies of the old papers.
And it’s much more fascinating to hear about the Diggers from a grown Child that grew up in The Digger Lifestyle.

Thanks for uprighting the image. The Diggers are credited with inventing the phrase "do your own thing". I find the cartoon strip of a detective and newspaper editor pondering a symbol which vaguely resembles the Halloween card symbol to be interesting in itself. And CJ Myke, Editor, would remind some of DJ Gaik, editor of the San Francisco Good Times (the Diggers did printing jobs for Good Times as well as others). The cartoon is taken out of context from a Steve Canyon comic. Asa nisi masa is a reference to Fellini’s film, 8 1/2.
