Edward had no wife or kids, only his Mother as his survivor. He was heavily involved in some sort of amateur baseball leagues.

Does the timing correspond with any of the questioned documents within the FBI files?
Not that I recall, we can double check for sure. Most of the questioned docs i recall being 1969-70. Dave, do you have a link to the last batch of FBI pages that were released? I seem to recall you had them posted someplace.
Here’s the last batch of FBI files that you managed to obtain: http://www.zodiackillerciphers.com/?p=179. Is that what you’re looking for? Or the original files?
This was interesting wish I know who this was.

Do the FBI # and Laten # refer to the Zodiac case in general or is that a specific case ID for this specific individual? From what I can find, that case number is linked back to someone in Cincinnati and this individual was in custody in London, Ohio by the Bureau of Criminal Identification at some point. Person was also born in Massachusetts.

There was a Pimp I think who moved to Cleveland and bragged he was Z, I think he was black. Does this sound familiar to anybody?

If it is of any help, thanks to the fixed width of typewriters, I can say with some certainty that the person’s surname is 8 letters in length.

Interesting Glurk, thanks. Most of us who believe Z hailed from Riverside, and moved to Vallejo, could be wrong, maybe it’s the reverse. Born in Vallejo, moves to Riverside for school, 66-67,then back to Vallejo 68-74?? Could happen. I am curious however, what could any school in Riverside offer that the Vallejo area could not? Why would anybody go all the way down there?

I found a reference to the 9-49911 number to a Wayne Williams that was looked at for the Atlanta Child Murders which some thought was Z. His last name is 8 letters.

Here are excerpts from the FBI files concerning the Cleveland pimp:
He used the Zodiac symbol, claimed to be the "Father of prostitution", and was connected to killings in Cleveland.
This was interesting wish I know who this was.
Garysmith claims in "Unmasked" that it was Arthur Leigh Allen:
There are some major differences between Graysmith’s excerpt and the real FBI file. Graysmith’s fabrications?

This is where my question comes in with the FBI file number….9-49911. Is that a Zodiac case number in general, or is that a number relating to a specific subject of the Zodiac case? If a general number it could relate to Allen based off a local case number somehow. I have seen that number used with other extensions on it such as 9-49911-148, etc….
FWIW Here’s a previous discussion on that FBI suspect. Seeing the red diary mentioned made me think of the one we got from one of the FOI requests. So I searched and found this thread about this very page.
viewtopic.php?f=107&t=222&hilit=diary
and the diary.
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=225&p=533&hilit=planner#p533
Not sure if it was decided if this was the diary mentioned.
Not sure who uploaded this, but that File# 9-49911 belongs with this Z wiki:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ … cFile2.pdf
It also belongs here with the FBI:
http://vault.fbi.gov/The%20Zodiac%20Kil … %20of%2006
That must be the specific case# for the Zodiac case.
The reason you saw that file# in relation to Wayne Williams/Atlanta Child murders, is because there was a possible letter from Z mailed in the case,if you did not see it, here it is:

I thought this may be Ross Sullivan…8 letters, and in Riverside, but no Army for Ross

Well, if that is just the subjects last name in the blank after "Subject", Sullivan fits nicely, but Allen does not….to large of a space based on the size of the characters. Sullivan would actually fit it perfectly if that is what you are thinking.
