I wonder if this has something to do with that 19 year old man who wrote a bunch of phony Zodiac letters which were apparently pretty good ones if I remember correctly. Law enforcement did investigate. I will see if I can locate the thread.

Had not ever seen anything on this anywhere before and the "you’re next" seemed like a Z thing to do….kind of a scare tactic, even though I don’t think he ever had any intention of killing children…a fear thing.

Interesting, never heard of this one. We could always do an FBI request for the document to see if we can get it, and see if the ‘crude’ writing, looks anything like Z,or the crude writing in the Bates case. The light colored car is interesting as it possibly matches suspect cars in the Z case.

That would be cool. The light color ed car caught my attention as well. My concern is that this was possibly just reported and then the note thrown out by the parents. Though my other thought is that the case was well known enough that they kept the note and turned it over. I would love to see this one if the FBI has it!

People would rather believe that Zodiac wouldn’t harm a child, but I believe he could care less how young a victim is.
He is "evil", don’t forget that.

What makes me think that the note could be real , is that only Zodiac would use a Z , a copy cat would write Zodiac.
I am sure that there were people who thought it was funny to pretend to be Zodiac and try to scare others.

I know that there were people who would write notes to people saying : Sorry I missed you, Juan Corona ( Not sure of that spelling ? ) Most of you may not know who that was, he killed many people.

I requested via FOIA, release of any info about this from the CA DOJ, and they declined it. I am awaiting response from the US Dept Of Justice.
This is the 3rd request thru the CA DOJ that I have been turned down for, they always state it’s because it’s part of an open investigation, or it needs to be requested thru other local agencies handling the case. They are a lost cause in my opinion for foia request, others have also been turned down.

I don’t think so, I just think since it related to the Z case at all, that’s why they turned it down.

No,it’s taking a very long time too, I actually emailed them not too long ago, but they said they do them as they get them

I also want to lose some weight. Out of the three goals you list, losing weight should be the easiest. I will speak for myself and say that if I stayed off the computer and just spend the time on exercising rather than reading about the Zodiac in the next year, it should be a cinch. I think I’ll call it the Zodiac Plan and try to just indulge on the weekends!

So true! Spending hours reading and playing on the computer doesn’t help, I want to get more of a balance between the two.

Happy New Year! It will be interesting to see how much progress has been made towards achieving these goals next year at this time.
