For me to seriously consider ALA as a possible suspect somebody would have to show that he slimmed down during the Z murders, especially the PH murder. Did he ever slim down or was he always overweight? If he was always real big then he’s not a possible suspect. He’s too tall to start with, but if he was always heavy then forget it.

End of the World, who the hell is Ted Kazinski? Do you mean, per chance, Ted Kazynski?

For the record, the proper spelling is KACZYNSKI. Look it up if you don’t believe me. Yeah, that’s why people just say "Ted K."

BTW, when and where did I ever misspell Ted K’s name Mr. Bugs? Are you playing games or are you early stage Alzheimer’s?

If you search this forum for "Kazinski" you will see that it is often spelled that way. If you speak it, it sounds the same — but I’m sure Ted wouldn’t prefer it.

Allen isn’t just a non match for Zodiac’s prints and DNA.

He’s also a non match for Zodiac’s psych profile.

Another thing I read maybe someone could shed some light on. when they went to ALA’s basement they found a typewriter, and it matched the typeset, and the kind of typewriter that was used in typing the Bates letters, yet it said that a comparison has never been done…I found that very odd. anyone have any other info on that one. I would hope someone would have made that simple comparison test.

Bat

The typeset was Pica.

Graysmith wrongly reported it as Elite.

Implication here is that Allen read Graysmith’s book and got the typewriter in order to buttress his status as a Zodiac wannabe.

Right ALA is a non-match all the way around. But you have all this stuff said by Don Cheney. Why the hell did Cheney say all that stuff? Somebody paid off Cheney for some reason.

Yeah but the venerable Mr. Bugs accused ME of spelling it that way. I don’t think I ever did. Even as we speak I’m thinking about filing a lawsuit against Bugs for libel, slander, etc.

Allen diddled Cheney’s daughter.

The Venerable Mr. Bugs apologizes for his false accusations. He also is on his knees begging forgiveness for his own spelling sins.

Don Cheney could very well have been lying about ALA..Michael M maybe was completely wrong when he identified ALA as the man who had shot him in 1969. It would be a jury’s duty to decide.

Nacht, is that you? It’s been years. Are you still overseas? Africa?

Bugs and gang….

Cheney made his statements, he may have had a motive via ALA messing with his daughter. I wasn’t aware of the Pica vs elite issue on the typewriter. On the search of ALA’s place where they found the typewriter, that was his basement residence in Vallejo I believe? That search was done around 1990? That would be 23 years after the letters were written. I don’t think it would be uncommon if he used the typewriter a lot, those old manuals if used a lot, wore out, certainly he would have replaced it between 1967 & 1990. I’m not trying to push ALA as Z at all, just saying what i remember of the older manual typewriters.
On MM Iding ALA. MM always said he got a good look at Z out the passenger side window while he was in the rear seat. He may have got a good look at Z, but I highly doubt it could be from the side rear passenger window. On those Corvairs the top of that window was about 49", 4′ 1" high. they were a very low car. So unless Z was bent in half there’s no way MM could have seen Z’s face at that time. I’ve always wondered why if he said he saw Z, why the police never got a composite from MM.

I wondered to with MM’s description. I recall around 1990 ish, KTVU did an interview with ALA. Not sure when Bawart had MM look at pics of suspects, when MM Id’d ALA as the man who shot him. I just wonder if MM saw the ALA interview and got his ID of ALA from that ALA interview.

One thing that really stands out as fradulent about Cheney’s blathering is when he said ALA asked him to lick some stamps for him. WTF? So this would explain why ALA’s DNA was not on the stamps, we presume. It wouldn’t have to be Cheney’s DNA, either—it could have been anybody’s—-since ALA apparently had this peculiar habit of asking/co-ercing random people to lick his stamps.

I think this shows Cheney was paid off by somebody to help keep the "ALA is the Z" theory from dying. Because, as I read somewhere on this board, the case was already solved internally at the upper reaches of LE>

Allen’s excuse for doing this was that the taste of glue made him want to vomit.

Cheney tested clean on the DNA comparison.

It’s possible to use a wet sponge, or a wet rag, rather than asking somebody to lick them. If he really had the vomiting reaction, he would have figured that out on his own.
