“Peek through the pines” postcard received March 22, 1971 at the SF Chronicle and addressed to “Paul Averly” (sic).

Already in a Reno Gazette-Journal (Reno, Nevada) 27 Mar 1971 it was established that the "Peek through the Pines" postcard
featured the ad for a housing development in Incline Village.

“Coda” reply, is the advertisement reference code, if someone writes to the paper they can refer to the ad using this code, it is a ad in the personal section hence why .

As Simplicity2 just posted in his post above you post; “Coda” in this add probably just mean that Zodiac should use the code 130-07-1079 when/if he decide to respond to the add.
Meaning that the person who made the add, isted of a name or address, has the code 130-07-1079, at least that is what I believe.

This ad was already was pointed out by doranchak in 2018 . Under the topic of S.F Examiner online

Also, I’m pretty sure the general understanding is that this ad was made by Mary Pilker and or Donna’s family.
