I don’t believe this particular ad was written by the family and on page 3 or 4 of the S.F. Examiner online topic their starts to be a good bit of discussion about it . And they say the actual number turns out to be a Social Security number .

If the number starting with 130 is indeed a SS#, then according to this site, the SS# was issued in NY state

Indubitably already pointed out that doranchak posted about this;
viewtopic.php?f=94&t=3996&hilit=examiner&start=20#p64902

I can understand the uncertainty about the word ‘Coda’ – it’s not
a common english word (I’d not encountered it before except as
associated with ‘Rick and Morty’).
Additional to the meanings Mr Iowe gave a few posts back, some
meanings can be;
noun, Music
-the concluding passage of a section or movement (of music)
-the concluding section of a dance (e.g. in ballet)
-a concluding event, remark, or section.

Thomas Dougherty apparently also knew it as the musical notation
symbol that indicates the end of a section of music (and which also
happens to be the same symbol as the Zodiac symbol).
His usage of the words " okay "coda" "", would be meant to mean;
‘okay , finish it / bring this matter to an end(even if that end is not
fully satisfying to us) ‘.

The words of the newspaper PERSONALS advertisement following
after that,
Reply to 130-07-1079,
Gen Del, Incline Village, Lake
Tahoe, Nev.

refers to the General Delivery service of (some, not all) post offices of the
USPS;
https://www.escapees.com/usps-general-delivery/
In this case, in order to retrieve any mail for himself that had been posted
‘General Delivery’ to the Incline Village post office, Thomas Dougherty would
have had to show documentation (Social Security card or Tax document, etc.)
with his ‘Social Security Number’ 130-07-1079 on it, to prove that the mail
item was meant for him. (Evidently back in the 1970’s, some post offices
allowed you to specify your SSN as a suitable identification to use on General
Delivery addressed mail items).
