From the SF Examiner, June 4 1967. He’s mentioned in the 2nd column:
"The Prisoner and the keeper".
Sounds interesting. I wonder if he fed them salted beef?
Has he been ruled out as a suspect? And in the SR Hitchhiker crimes as well?

The SR Hitchhiker Murders continued after Manalli’s death and may have gone on for longer than initially thought.

Not sure of that. Check out Seagull’s site:

With the exception of one Jane Doe found well after Manalli’s 1976 death, they did end before he died. Manalli is a suspect in at least one of the murders

Did Manalli know Paul Stine at SF State?

Nobody knows for sure, but Graysmith’s book claims that Manalli and Arthur Leigh Allen knew each other. Take that for whatever it’s worth. I personally think Manalli was involved in the Santa Rosa murders and may have had a partner. Hell, he was even questioned in one of the murders. I also think that he wrote the Zodiac letters but did not do any of the killing.
