Did anybody catch what the robotic voice said during the end credits of episode two?

Yep think they are going after someone from the Presidio base at the time Richard Bunch got shot there. Guess a suspect that was military there at the time.

Hi, I just remembered that those soldiers that were at the Presidio have periodic get togethers. I found that out when I googled the story to see if I could find either of the men I knew.

I hope it is a complete solve but would be satisfied with a partial one provided it has been verified. If partial, will be excited to see the method used to make it so difficult for all these years.

So where is the complete bio of Ross Sullivan?
Where was he born? Is he still alive? If dead where is he buried? Did he serve in the military? Has his college records at RCC ever been made public? What high school did he attend?
Did he have any criminal record before or after the Bates murder? The show says he checked books on cryptology out of the library but later said all the library records prior to 1980
were destroyed. So I take it that the police at the time must have investigated him including his reading habits? Where did he live in Riverside? Did he live near Bates? Did the RPD ever
question him? If not then how do we know that he checked books out on cryptology? Perhaps there was a place inside the book cover where students who checked out the books wrote
their names? I don’t recall ever doing that as we just used a RCC library card to check out books. The librarians though he was so strange that they immediately suspected him. Do any
former instructors at RCC who are still alive remember him? I also saw a recent article in the Daily Mail that says that Sullivan was arrested in Santa Barbara in 1968 for "bizarre
behavior" but did not elaborate with any details.

I find this interesting since we both went to RCC at the same time. Over 50 years have passed since the Bates murder and this
this guy seems to be a ghost. Gives me the creeps that I might have sat next to him in a class at RCC.

One more thing. The show had an authentic letter from the Zodiac and compared it to the confession letter sent after the Bates murder. Three words were in both letters. The words game, squirm and twitch. The word twitch in both letters were misspelled as twich. Is this new information or was this known previously? Personally I find it hard to believe that no one ever
picked up on this before considering that every amateur sleuth out there have been going over these letters for years looking for clues.

I was a ‘consultant’ for the show. Some of the stuff they used is new to some of us, some of it not so much

A lot of the answers to your questions are in the Ross Sullivan threads. It is very interesting. As far as the use of the words squirm and twich, I was not the first person to point this out, but did discuss the statistical probabilities of using these words in very similar contexts the 4th post down here:

I have not made up my mind completely, but think that there is a very strong possibility that Zodiac drafted The Confession Letter. Let’s make an objective comparison between The Confession Letter and the Little List Letter:

They both have a very dark literary quality, include fantasies of mutilating other human beings, have spelling errors, and use some of the same no so commonly used words. And of course we have mention of some type of "game," and demands that the letter be published. So we can go around and around about whether these facts are coincidences or not. And for whatever reason some people have made up their mind that this could not be the same writer, no matter what the similarities are. We can go around and around about whether the use of the word "shall" is a coincidence or not. And we can go around and around about whether the misspellings are a coincidence or not.

But let’s consider the fact that Zodiac spelled twitch as "twich" in the Little List letter. This may be statistically, I mean mathematically, very significant. Twitch isn’t exactly the most frequently used word in the English language, and the Confession Letter does not have very many words. Zodiac’s letters, collectively, don’t have very many words. They fill up maybe several pages of a book.

What is the probability that two different killers used this infrequently used English word in anonymous letters to newspapers that described their crimes and fantasies of human mutilation, in the same State, within a few years of each other, and demanded that the letters be published, with such a small sample of total words to work with? Not very likely. And then, what is the probability that both killers would misspell this word the exact same way?

Not very likely. This is the reason why I think that Zodiac may have written the Confession Letter. You can have coincidences. But to have so many coincidences together, and this one coincidence that is very statistically improbable, that shows strong evidence that the writers could be the same person. Maybe not beyond a reasonable doubt. But definitely more likely than not.

According to the site, "twitch" is the 15,284th most frequently used word, and count is only 1,305 for every 1 billion words.

"Twitching" is actually more common, and is the 11,989th most frequently used word, and count is 2,505 for every 1 billion words.

I have to work now, but somebody needs to count how many words are in The Confession Letter and all of the confirmed Zodiac Letters, and consider the statistical probability of this word appearing in both, and then misspelled the exact same way in both.

I was pleased to see that my point was made on television. The counter argument was the Zodiac somehow read the Confession Letter and was a copycat of the Riverside killer. If so, then Zodiac would have found the Riverside connection before the press and law enforcement. The use of these words is the fact that convinces me that it was probably Zodiac who wrote the confession letter.

It is interesting that the show didn’t talk about the desktop. Maybe they will in future episodes. I think that we all have favorite facts and suspects, and the show isn’t going to discuss all of them. But it is great to even have a show. It is amazing that Ross Sullivan is even being discussed on T.V.

Oh…and so people know, the area code on this poster didn’t come into play until late 1997. Zodiac had nothing to do with this…I say this so the facts are out there for any newbies.

Call me a jaded synic, but I was left a little disappointed last night. A computer (Carmen) that nearly turned a dig on Mt Diablo into another Oak Island show… then writes a poem? (Complete with too-long cheesy cgi graphic that shows a computer working? )I know it’s a TV show but this really made me groan. And as far as Mt Diablo goes… working for only 16 hours in a MASSIVE area and not finding a bomb (especially when you’re digging in a ridiculous spot where you see a fairly recent downed tree in the shot that obviously needed a stump excavation and ground clearing), does not allow you to declare there’s no bomb there. And what the hell is the helicopter for? Let’s hope next week reveals a found body (may she rest in peace) and if not answers, some new bonafied leads.
