All this nonsense about seances is just incredible to me. How do people take this stuff seriously? How does their credibility remain intact? The sad part is that it is probably easier for the police to speak to Gyke in the great beyond than it is for them to have a sit down with certain living individuals.

I might believe in some ghosts or messages from the beyond. Do I believe In Gaiks ghost haunting the Martinez Gazette, well no. My reasons for that is, i was at the Mtz Gazette early this year and spoke to Erin (I’ll have to find her business card for her title) and three other employees and not one of them brought up Gaik haunting their place of business and we did talk about Gaik.

Oh, I agree 100%, Zodiac is already enough of a ghost, we don’t need to be chasing around ones that go bump in the night. I feel that taking part in a ghost hunt for Gaik’s ghost is a waste of time, and almost belittles any investigation of him

If he was working at the counterculturpaper in San Fran in 1969,and had short conservative hair, he would not have fit in, would he?

Hardly. I have a photo of my guy from 1971 and he has the same short hair he always had. Not a crew cut in this photo but short hair. There are TONS of photos of Gyke that predate the murders but I’ve never seen one from the time of the murders. BTB doesn’t have one photo of this guy from late 1969?

I am skeptical that nobody has found a pic of Gaik from 69. Seems like he would have been photographed a time or two around that time, and with all the time & resources spent on Gaik, somebody could find it. That brings me to his writing, where are all the samples for us to see? I know there has to be more writing samples out there of his. I have seen a couple pieces of his writing,and while there are a couple similarities to z, there are far more glaring differences.

He could have worn such a look to blend in and get scoops where a more hippy-looking reporter would’ve been turned away.
