I was just pondering the sighting of the Studebaker and other curiosities involving autos. If that is off topic I will just stop reading and trying to learn a little bit. Circumstantial evidence is just that. There are many factors precluding Mr X being Mr Z. I am just keeping an open mind and using human reasoning power to understand the different possibilities. I’m still trying to figure out why SLA was omitted from Keel’s lab report. I mean, they included the photo of the desktop poem, which is obviously useless for DNA.
And it would appear that they didn’t have Citizen or RP in their possession at the time of the tests.
Why didn’t they test the Halloween card or the L.A. Times letter? Does this mean the HC and Times letter are now considered "disputed" correspondence, ala the Pines card? They didn’t analyse the July 31st letters because they didn’t have them at the time; every other "bonafide Z" was processed.

I believe this is nothing more than a ‘political’ move to satisfy the masses who will complain that they are not pursuing the zodiac killer in light of the Joseph DeAngelo conviction. Nothing more. They’ll send it in…there will be no conclusive results, and and all sides will be appeased. 
Except they began this latest attempt before DeAngelo was caught.
What "masses" are complaining? Sure, those of us who follow this Board are highly interested in IDing Zodiac. But Mr. & Mrs. America are busy with their lives, not cases half a century cold.
