I just found this article on-line. It’s about a prisoner that through DNA was link to two of six murders in the San Fransisco area and Neveda in 1976. They believe all six were committed by the same man and his DNA was link to two of the victims. Two things about this caught my attention, first and obviously a man link to serial murders in the San Fran area shortly after the Z cases and second his initial are R.H. I know he’s on the young side and would only have been 20/21 around the start of Z; however it would also put him at the right age for Cheri Jo’s murder if she was killed by a classmate.

I’m trying to find out more info about him, but having some trouble. I did read he grew up in Michigan and escaped from jail in Muskegon county in 1966. I can’t figure out what happened between then and when he was arrested again in 1976. Even his own brother stated he is not a very nice person and that he terrorized everyone.
He is suspected of committing murder in 1972 in Michigan but they have not been able to prove he was even in the area.

Sorry if it has been brought up before, but it looks like back in January they connected this guy via DNA to the Bay Area Gypsy Hill murders of 1976. The women were all knived to death, similar to how Cheri Jo Bates was murdered. I believe he may be around the same age as Cheri would be today if she were alive.
This scumbag interests me greatly with his initials of RH.
