This coming Friday is the anniversary of the unsolved murder of Molly Bish in Warren, MA. Fourteen years later, no arrest has been made, though a number of persons of interest continue to make the rounds in local media and across the internet community.
I was 16 when it happened, same age as she was when she went missing from her lifeguard post at Comins Pond. I’m in Rhode Island and my entire family is from central Massachusetts, so Molly’s abduction hit incredibly close to home. That what happened to Molly could easily have happened to someone I know and care about, coupled with the fact that there’s been no resolution, makes this one case that especially haunts me.
Since there was no thread for her or any of the other girls who’ve gone missing and/or turned up murdered in Massachusetts, I thought I’d go ahead and make one. If anyone can offer a fresh perspective, some of the minds on this board certainly can.

There are a number of similar cases that could well be linked. The ones most frequently mentioned in connection to Molly are Holly Piirainien, who was murdered in Sturbridge in 1993 and Lisa Ziegert who went missing from Agawam in 1992. I’d also add Deborah Quimby, who went missing from Townsend in 1977 to the list.

I remember seeing an episode on a tv show about her case.

Maybe you could find a good article to link us to?
I would have, but it’s hard to find a good, thorough, and objective overview of the case. Wikipedia’s write-up isn’t bad, and the Guardian did a decent feature on Molly last year. True Crime Diary, one of my favorite blogs, also has a good series on the case, with plenty of embedded links:

EDIT:
In my initial response, I referenced the Guardian; the publication I was thinking of is the Daily Mail:
