Yes, we’ll cover everything from Presidio Heights next, chronologically to the 2001 greetings card. Then the earlier crimes and suspects. The earlier crimes being Ray Davis, Domingos/Edwards, Swindles and CJB. Obviously, some will feature more than others.

Thanks, if I’m reading it correctly it states glasses over the hood. As opposed to the killer being spotted wearing glasses before he put the hood on, which I believe was referenced in the podcast.

Also the alleged witness wasn’t an EMT.

Great episode. It is accessible enough for people new to the case while also being “inside baseball” enough for longtime researchers.

Just a couple things about the episode that I wanted to mention:

You said that Cecelia Shepherd was stabbed 10 times – 5 times in the front and 5 times in back. This is not accurate once you examine the autopsy.

Based on the analysis of the autopsy, Miss Shepherd was stabbed 4 times in the back causing 6 separately identified wounds, and 5 times in the front causing 6 separately identified wounds. This is 9 stabbings causing 12 wounds. Two of these wounds are actually more precisely called slashings.

Secondly, I was intrigued by the information about Zodiac “chain smoking” at LB. I know Tom Voigt has mentioned Zodiac being a smoker, but I had never heard where that information originated from. Is there any information on what kind of cigarettes he smoke or if the butts were kept as evidence?

It’s a statement from the woman to the police, and it’s in the report- it’s what Cecelia relayed to her, and she relayed to police. Let’s go with the option that it is most likely to be accurate
