I recently acquired some of the original pre-stamped postcards… "The Pines Card"

It’s actually quite small. Not what I was expecting. It is 3.5" x 5.5". The back is blank of course.

Just thought I’d share.

Thanks for that T,

I nearly bought some of those a while back. I brought up this point regarding the size of Z’s writing earlier on this thread. http://www.zodiackillersite.com/viewtop … 6659#p6659

And as I said there, it’s an aspect of Zodiac’s writing that’s east to overlook because we are used to seeing it on screens there we really don’t have a good reference for appreciating how small it was. We read the stuff and forget that some of it looks like full page letters where in reality it’s written on postcards in some instances.

I know you don’t rate the Riverside stuff as being Zodiac but the scale photo of the desk put’s his writing into size context very well IMO. I don’t know where I read it or heard it but I think I recall LE at some point mentioning how small his writing was.

Nice, thanks for sharing, T.
Since we’ve all read the "size of his text" thing, I’m betting GS mentioned it in passing, perhaps.

That’s probably it you know.
