Somebody did me a favor and turned Ross’s face so that it’s looking straight forward like the sketch of Zodiac is. Here is the result(I am not crazy about the way the process ‘fattened’ Ross’s face, it wasn’t done on purpose, it was part of the process

I’ve unflattened the face a bit Mike.

Turned his face towards the camera a little.

Those clothes on that sketch looks like someone in his 30’s or 40’s would wear and not a younger person. Then there is the eyewitness saying Zodiac was in that same age range.

Or were they part of his disguise? Glasses and some old yard sale clothes would throw many people off in the wrong direction if he usually wore trendy clothes and no glasses.

Of course you can’t rule that out. I’m going with the simple solution though and the fact the witness that night said he was older.

Yes – it’s a tricky one as only Fouke said he was 35 – 45. The kids concurred he was about 28-30 which coincidentally was the same as Mageau estimated and about the same as the dodgy character the 3 girls saw at Lake B. Similar too to Kathleen Johns’ abductor. Maybe the old man clothes influenced Foukes’ age estimate to be older? The issue of his age is a really frustrating one and a difficult one to nail down :?

I always thought the higher age range could have come from the "possibly graying in rear". IF he was graying, the man would be older. If it was just blond-ish, he’d put the guy around 35.

Ive read the synopsis on RS. so what is it that makes him a good suspect? he knew bates and worked in the library and some of his handwriting is similar?
when did he become a police suspect?

…a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma

when the library staff sent a letter to the police stating that Ross was a concern to them
