Here’s Ross side by side with the more rare and lesser seen Zodiac sketch

Is there any pictures of Ross from the 60’s? From what I remember, this is a picture from 1959, right?

Where is the lesser known sketch from? and wasn’t Ross A Lot heavier in the late 60’s?
Certainly heavier than who Kathleen John’s identified as Zodiac. Maybe she was way off but I think she said like 160lbs

Don’t get me wrong, him being in the RCC library and his name being Sullivan (as in Gilbert & ) makes him the best "known" suspect…

That sketch was one that was not heavily circulated. Ross according to a man that had a run in with him in 1968 or so, he said that Ross was in the 260’s

I agree does look like the sketch! Here is why I don’t agree! Ross looks very young to even come close to match the Stine sketch at the time. What the pic don’t show is all the wrinkles and etc Ross doesn’t have compared to the Zodiac sketch at the time. Just my opinion. Add ten years from Ross’s pic and still don’t see him having any of the forehead wrinkles and etc.

Well,we don’t have pics from Ross in 69, but there’s a good chance if we did, they would look like a 10 year older version thus, possibly some lines

He might would if he gained weight up to 250 or 260lbs then lost down to 210 or 215. He also seemed to live a hard life.
That type of thing can age a person. I’ve got a theory that if it is indeed Sullivan, he lost massive amounts of weights to kill. Anti Psychotic medications cause weight gain like crazy. They also loose weight very fast when they come off of them. While Sullivan was being treated, he didn’t kill, and put on the pounds. When he left the hospital, he would go back to killing, and lose a bunch of weight to concel his identity.

As someone who at 6ft2 260 runs 5k.
Let me assure you folks the weight would not prevent his ability to commit the crimes.

I don’t think anyone is doubting his ability to do the crimes, just whether someone that large fits any of the eyewitness descriptions.

Anyone remember what the ‘official’ provenance on this was? morf when you say not heavily circulated are you saying that it was actually circulated? Wonder why it wasn’t countersigned like the official ones released by SFPD. FWIW it appears in the Fincher documentary ‘This is the Zodiac Speaking’.Was that where we first saw/became aware of it?

I don’t know Chief, he’s very smart or very dumb.

I can’t even remember now Trav. The first time I ever saw it was on a documentary(forget which one)hanging on a wall at SFPD
