Hopefully my attachment will work– I have attached am image of a Limerick and a portion of a letter that Ted Kaczynski wrote–
I’m trying to get more info about the letter he wrote dated I think-August 25? 1978. Seems it might be addressed to the woman he worked and
harassed in Illinois in 1978 wondering if anyone has a version of the whole letter.
Thank you!

I think that might be all or most of the poem. Unfortunately I only have the same fragment of the letter. Ted also wrote in his journal that he fantasized about getting her in the work parking lot, hiding in the back seat of her car and "mutilating her (Ellen’s) face with a knife".

And I noted the following from the Ellen poems and letter. Ted makes reference to "fat ass", a term he also used in a letter to a former employer at a gas station, while Zodiac said the police better get off their "fat asses" if they want to catch him [Zodiac, LA Times letter, 1971].

Ted also uses the word "nasty", which Zodiac used in saying he would do something "nasty" [Zodiac Exorcist Letter 1974].

Ellen poems and letter. Like the Riverside desk writer, Kaczynski pens a poem. Like many Zodiac letters, Kaczynski is sarcastic, mocking and witty. Uses Zodiac terms "fat ass" and "nasty":

I found a larger image of the limerick letter

from the parts I can make out if I am correct it says:

Written date august 25, 1978

In this letter I merely want to clear up some loose ends of this nasty affair because I always hate having anything misunderstood.
When I talked to you in your car as you arrived at work Thursday Morning (august 24) you said that when you went out with me the first two times, you “really thought there might be something in it; friendship, or……” I seriously doubt whether your statement is true, because your words and ? generally have been so inconsistent. Nevertheless, this statement is probably the only thing that prevented me from attacking you physically. When I got into your car, I intended physical violence of a serious nature— until your statement cast doubt on the conclusion I had reached, that is ———
As a toy playing

I cant make much out after that?

I wondered if the University of Michigan Library archive would include this or how much that archive is curated by Ted K? I have never been but was thinking I might pay a visit soon. For anyone who has been there is there an online way to see what is catalogued– like a database? Or does one have to go there and look manually?
I would like to read the journals in particular.
Thank you!

There once was a man named Thomas
He just didn’t have any promise
The theories he came up with were bunk
Every one of them smelled like a skunk

There was a guy called Zodiac the killer
He turned daily life into a thriller
He killed more victims like he said he would
Because it really made him feel quite good
He got a chuckle when he used the knife
One of his favorite ways to take a life
Someday we will learn his name and fate
Hopefully before it is to late

Zodiac was an internet troll before the internet.
