Dead Aliens in CA?

As soon as I saw it,before knowing any details, I thought it was a miscarried or aborted animal, likely a deer. However, those ears are quite unlike any deer I have ever seen,they seem to have segments in them, and seem to have a 90 degree angle, leaving me scratching my head. Love to hear some opinions, and Trav, if you are reading, can you enhance this?

Hi, english is not my first language so please bear with me 
Yeah …. not really sure what it is. Or perhaps how it was made. It obviously looks incomplete but it’s also disproportionate. The head is too big for the rest of the body and the body appears to have a midsection discrepancy. Not just the missing legs but also a foreshortened front section where they would be. It’s practically a big head and a tiny bum section.
The ears don’t look to unusual to me. The ‘segments’ are just an undeveloped ear that hasn’t fully formed and filled with blood (see adjacent example). The edge does appear to be very square and I can only speculate that it’s a species thing, or it was cut. The face appear to have been eaten by something.
My guess. It’s either a really F’d up miscarry or it’s a really, really F’d up construction. Either way I think it’s safe to say it’s something gone very wrong.

Best explanation seems to be "partially eaten miscarried deer fetus".
I’m not upset by it, but some here might be. That’s a really gross picture, LOL.
