This letter writer uses multiple designs of the letter K, as did Zodiac.

This letter drags the bottom of his lower case g’s and y’s over to the left, as did zodiac

I see a few more things that are very Z like. I wouldn’t disregard this as being a copycat. What jumped out at me is a victim named April ! Could she be the one in the woods ? Zodiac wasn’t known to rape, but who is to say that he never did ? When he said that he would change his way of collecting slaves, maybe that was one of the things that he did do later?

Just like Zodiac, he misspelled her name.The Ha ha is z like to me as well as the graffiti and tormenting the family is z like. That weekend was more than a holiday weekend, it was Good Friday as well as April Fools day and of course Easter Sunday weekend. Killing someone named April on April fools day, seems more than a coincidence .The suspect they are looking for is too young to be Zodiac, but that might be just a profiler guessing the killers age, thinking that the killer was just getting started.
My suspect was at my job on April 3rd 88, so I doubt it was him, I have no idea where my other one was that week .Art Allen was too sick in 1988 to be travelling I think ?

Thanks zodiphile, I did read that, there were a few letters written, but that doesn’t mean the killer was there all that time from 88 to 2004. He could have moved around just like Zodiac may have. If Z was the man Darlene spoke about, she knew he traveled all over the states. Many serial killers are truck drivers that kill all over the states, construction workers will work where ever the work is. We can only hope that who ever this sicko is, he needs to be stopped ASAP.

Off the top of anybody’s head, did Zodiac write the word, ‘APRIL’, with a capital A, in any letters? I am about to look thru them all, hoping somebody remembers off hand.

Start with comparisons of the letter K. Both the Zodiac, and Tinsley letter writer have 2 specific kinds of K’s
and they match each other!

Both Z, and the Tinsley letter writer make sure it’s known, in no uncertain terms, that they are responsible for the murders(even if they really were not,and just wanted to take credit)

Morf, The writing on the barn door looks like he wrote it and then wrote over it ? Some will argue that Zodiac has never done that, but he has.

That looks like a fancy Z to me. "Someone" once wrote 7-4-69 – Zodiac ( in cursive ) on my car along with printed words :I hate you – Fu ( in the late 80’s). The Z was written with that same fancy curly Z ,like on the Bates letter. It was done with a green grease pencil or a green crayon. It was raining so the words remained on the car, most of it was on the window.
I tried to get a good picture of it, but it is very hard to see in the picture.

What was put on my car, may have nothing to do with the mark on the Bates letter , but I thought it was something that I should bring to your attention just the same.
