I bought the book only to see the evidence and to be able to scan it, etc. I have a real problem with that fingerprint thing.

The "scar" in the cab print appears to be way towards the top of the finger through the end of the pad. Earl’s starts at the distal interphalangeal joint. I don’t see them being in the same place. He also has the orientation of the prints backwards from one page ot the next, so that it is hard to compare the print card to the exhibit on the next page.

I don’t think this is valid. Neither did a former SF city official I ran it be who is VERY savvy when it comes to evidence. And can someone explain why you "reverse" a print?

To me, the joint part of the "Recorded" print is towards the bottom of the page and runs upwards and to the left as you get to the end of the finger. The scar on the cab print seems to be at a steeper angle and in a different place towards the tip. Am I the only one who has a huge problem with this? Also, the base of the scar on Earl’s print (lower right on the print card) starts at the joint line. But the "Recorded print" on the next page does not have the print starting in the joint line, right? where is the crease? Weird! Maybe I am not looking at this right?

One more gripe: The centerpiece of his case is the marriage cert. Why is it the size of a postage stamp?

Hey, I guess like the Author, I solved the cipher too.
Using the same strategy of finding words in the solved cipher, I found the following:

CAIN
TOM(twice)
MOSS
FORT
LOFT
CAM
GERM

Do you see how easy it is to find words in a cipher? One of the best known suspects is named KANE/CANE, so using the author’s strategy, they could say that CAIN points to that suspect.
It’s simply a flawed strategy.
And the author found the ‘clue’ pointing to his suspect, not in the cipher symbols themselves, but in the solved words. And worst of all, the letters he chooses, are not even tied together, or following each other, he randomly takes them from wherever.

I have a Zodiac suspect too. He is Irish, and his name is Dwight Killin but he always went by Ike.

The most interesting part of this guy’s case is the hand printing, right? The "bloody print" thing is hokey. Nobody has yet explained why you reverse the print before you compare it other than the fact that it is inconveniently a mirror image of the one you have. The resemblance to the sketch is only a start and the code thing may be one of those strange coincidences that follow certain suspects around. The 340 and "My name is.." "solutions" are laughable without a PATTERN of some kind to them.

There is no evidence that Anton Lavey or Satanism were involved in the Z case (in fact he turned one of his members in to Avery at one point!). The innuendo about Rick Marshall is irrelevant unless you have proof that they were accomplices. Everyone apparently knew Darlene–Allen was at her party, Gyke supposedly knew her, etc. He used to hum the Mikado. But then Allen used to mutter "Tit willow" to himself three times to relieve stress. That is all sh*t you throw at the wall and hope some of it sticks.
