RE: Johnny Colla From Huey Lewis & the news, and his Z suspect
At some point, a few months ago(or slightly longer), somebody pointed out an article that mentioned Johnny Colla from Huey Lewis & the news, a Vallejo area resident, had his own Z suspect, that he & his friends thought was worthy of suspicion. Maybe it was on the old board. Anyhow, I found out the name of his suspect, if anybody wants it, Pm me

This is the piece about Johnny from had told the Vallejo Times H.
"Johnny Colla, co-founder of Huey Lewis and the News, was a teenage junior at Armijo High School in Fairfield at the time.
During the 1960s, it was common to see a string of people thumbing a ride along Interstate 80. After Zodiac terrorized the Bay Area, it all changed, Colla said.
"Hitchhiking would never be considered OK again," he said, "and that’s been the case
Colla still thinks Zodiac could have been an Armijo alumnus of 1966 "who mysteriously fell off the planet after graduation."
"I was pals with his little brother, who always told me, ‘Bob had strange thoughts.’ Then there was a striking resemblance to the composite sketches. Who knows?"

Found the guy in the yearbook, a little creepy looking and pretty z-like,but that and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee

The guy is dead. He died in Alaska a few years ago. Nobody’s saying he was zodiac, just that he looked similar to the z sketch, and was a bit odd as a person (which matches a thousand other guys), so i don’t see the harm in posting his info here,once again, nobody’s accusing him of any crimes, or even calling him an actual Z suspect.
