William Friedkin directed "The Exorcist" (1973). His first film ( 1967) was called "Good Times". In 1980 he also directed a film called "Crusing" based on a book of the same name published in 1970. The title was a deliberate play on words….Cops "cruising" around on patrol and the same term used in 60’s/70’s in the Gay community…"crusing" for sex.

Weird. I never watched Crusining, but I remember seeing the box for it starring Al Pacino
