Edited by Seagull to add links that doranchak provided to the RCC yearbooks.

OK – Here are the yearbooks in full:

1957: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1961: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1962: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1963: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1964: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1965: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing
1966: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx2ZxP … sp=sharing

I also captured all the OCR data (a.k.a.: recognized scanned text) that was available for each of those years:

QT: I was told some time ago by an RCC librarian that there were no 1966 yearbooks–the very one, of course, that would be meaningful to us.

Actually there is a 66 yearbook, we need the 67 one and they didn’t make one. The 66 yearbook covered 65-66 schoolyear, and the 67 yearbook would have covered the 66-67 schoolyear

@Soze:

Wish I could pull even more names..already cross-checked approximately 20,000 Riverside yearbook names with the my-name-is cipher..not one single name matched the cipher structure (substitution..). To check all Californian or US names wouldn’t be a Problem (using Python). The more names the better..IF Z had given his real name at all (and not some gibberish like ‘fat limping doodle’).

@Morf:

IF Z was older than CJB an oder yearbook could help. Obviously there are yearbooks, imo we should try to get access to those..any idea? ‘Classmates’ didn’t scan those yearbooks, doesn’t mean we don’t have a good picture of Z in it..

One thing we shouldn’t dismiss while we are looking at high school yearbooks for suspects, is Pacific HS in neighboring San Bernardino. ‘Zode’ went there graduating in 65,and if he really ran around calling himself zodiac(which he confirmed)and used terms like ‘this is the zodiac speaking’ which is alleged, then it’s quite likely,Zodiac,whomever he was, went to that high school,and maybe, later to RCC,and went on to steal Zode’s character. If you are looking for R.H. Students, and Z sketch look alikes, don’t forget Pacific HS 1963-1966

I would suggest this yearbook strategy (that I just suggested in ab RS thread) ….. use the yearbooks to try to find the "shapely blue-eyed brownett"mentioned in the CJB Confession letter, the one that supposedly turned down CJB’s killer in high school. It will be a much smaller number. If we can figure out the most likely candidates for that person, then you can start there.

No one knows that this killer went to the same high school as Cheri, let alone, finding his shapely blue-eyed brownette. No offense but we might as well be looking for the little store while we are at it. I think its more likely that he lived in the area surrounding Cheri’s home or went to college with her. It is said that a killer won’t select a victim within 1.5 miles of their home for comfort. They often spot and abduct them within 3 miles. Their disposal is within 8 miles. Abduction and disposal can be same location. So looking at an area of no more than 8 miles from RCC. Boundaries would be Jurupa Hills country club, Rubidoux blvd/market street, UCR and Victoria Ave/Washington St. If I’m not mistaken I believe Quicktraders " Zodiac rd" is pretty close to Victoria and Washington. Sorry Lowe. Just learnef of Diablo and so i dont know where it fits in that mix.

You say 20,000 riverside yearbook names. Just so im clear: RCC? Is that all inclusive for her year of attendance or what specifically?

I agree Soze. The thought is there, but…

I think also we have to consider street names with a grain of salt. Zodiac Drive houses were built in the late 70’s. That street probably didn’t even exist in 1966. This happens a lot when people consider names of streets involved with the Zodiac case.

Certainly nothing wrong with considering boundaries!

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

If we are looking for every shapely brunette from southern CA the writer was talking about, then the search would go on forever. It’s better odds to sort thru every male student in those schools around the same age,or a few years older, and see if any wound up in Vallejo area during Z crimes. I have already found a few myself

I wish it was…the truth is we don’t have anything from RCC: No yearbook, no names, no pictures. So if Z is amongst them, he’s hidden there in absolute silence..

What I took was what I could get, e.g. Ramona High, Polytech, Pacific High San Bernardino etc..not very structured, just tried to add as many as I could get in a few hours. Not even one single name was a match. That’s why I am so curious about the RCC yearbooks..we should be aware that if we don’t get them from e.g. Ebay we possibly won’t get them easier.
