This is a One Step Beyond January 1992 radio show with Dave Emory as host. This show is in the vein of conspiracy theories and uses Harry Martin’s Napa Sentinel newspaper series on the Zodiac Killer to make his point.

Got 5 minutes in and switched off. These conspiracy theorists probably wear tin foil on their heads to block the radio waves from the mind controlling lizards that rule our planet, masquerading in human form. They probably believe their own reflection is conspiring against them. Utter drivel. Sorry.

Murray Tiernay had a satanic cult theory on Z, he also had one on the "Son of Sam" killers that had at least 24 people in the cult!

Jay I think it is pretty well accepted that Harry Martin’s Sentinel series on the Zodiac Killer is "utter drivel"! He flips and flops in every direction in both of the series of articles he published. I guess if you throw enough garbage around some of it is bound to stick somewhere. I posted this only because I was surprised that anyone did a show on Martin’s theories at all.

I read somewhere a while back that the Son of Sam himself had stated that he was basically a puppet for some sort of cult. I’ll see if I can find the link again.

A few minutes ago on a toilet not very far, far away….

Thanks for sharing. I always thought Martin’s writings were pretty interesting. Too out there for sure, but at least they are pretty articulate and perhaps less whacky than some others. There is also some good info if you can sift through it. His was the first time that I heard about the "Vallejo drug bust" and some background info about some of the people who were connected to the case that Graysmith didn’t talk about.

Hey Ophion, there is a thread on this site about Son of Sam in the non-z crimes section. The link to an interview with D.B. where he talks about a cult is there.
