They might compete to each other in doing so, who knows, there is a lot of books I wouldn’t read (we burnt them in Berlin, didn’t we 
). So far none convinced me of their theory.

Geez when I started to read this thread, I thought we would be getting some new exciting news break soon! Then I read its about EVB, that was a huge disappointment for sure.
Most of us know about EVB and Gary Stewart, there is no real meat to his story. Not a one shred of tangible evidence. There are suspects who have so much more circumstantial evidence.
All Stewart had to do is get his DNA tested against what they have on the Zodiac ,to prove or disprove his claim. The handwriting that he said was a match to Zodiacs, was in fact the preachers writing who filled out the marriage certificate.

Let’s see, the handwriting went down in flames. The "reversed bloody fingerprint" exploded like a cigar. What’s left? The name in the code and he knew Anton LaVey? Oh yeah, looked like the sketch and his name is in the code.
These people contacted me and talked about having me explain on camera how I threw cold water on the handwriting but when they realized they’d have to fly me to LA and pay to put me up in a hotel I never heard from them again. So I wonder who is refuting the writing and print evidence on screen, if anyone.
They didn’t fool you with the book, so they’ll try to fool you with the documentary.
BTW, if the "obsessed Inspector" was Toschi, I wonder if that makes him a better candidate for having written the forged letters. I also know that Bawart was very much into Allen, maybe obsessed, IDK. But my friend Jim knows how into Allen Bawart was. In fact, he was the one who showed Allen’s picture to Lindsey and Fouke in the 1980s

I was told the documentary will be very skeptical of Stewart’s claims that EVB Jr is Zodiac, which is repeated in this reporting:
The producers were also interested in my views of Stewart’s code claims.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see how much actual skepticism survives the four-episode run. Honestly, a series about how someone can get so wrapped up in a Zodiac delusion would be compelling, since it’s such an epidemic condition.

Tom said he was approached to play devil’s advocate (which sounds like the gist of the documentary) but refused to participate.
It will be interesting to see a psychological profile of someone (Gary Stewart in this case) who gets hooked on a suspect and connects dots because the more you know of a suspect, the more dots you can connect in favor of your suspect being the Zodiac. (like with any suspect).
At the same time ignoring or brushing over everything that eliminates the same suspect.

I have wonder if the producers are downplaying the documentary with (the cops were not doing their job properly) and
(analysis of Gary Stewart’s obsession of his father as Zodiac). While holding ground breaking ace cards close to their vests until the
show airs.
