That was a waste of my time

I missed the first half, but it sounds like I didn’t miss anything huh? I understand why LE wants a smoking gun.

Thanks for the link.

Military records showed he was a marksman with a rifle and a sharpshooter with a pistol. Just doesn’t fit the bill otherwise, imo.

I just find this whole story odd. Could Myers have told Kenney what Kenney claims? Yes, of course. But if Myers were really the Zodiac, and wanted Kenney to be able to prove it, why didn’t he give Kenney some proof before he died, such as DNA or prints? Why didn’t Myers himself write out his accounts of the crimes for Kenney to show to LE? Surely there were some things not made public by LE that Myers could have told Kenney that would help convince LE Myers was the Zodiac?

I also find it hard to believe that Zodiac would tell someone he was the Zodiac, offer no proof that the person could take to LE, and then tell the person to write a book with the proceeds going to the victims’ families.

Agreed.

If this guy would have said he was only involved in David and Betty Lou’s murder, I might consider it, but he seems to have gone too far with his claim.

He just flat out doesn’t look like what Mike Mageau described or the kids & Fouke.

I believe these men in regards to them being told by Myers he was Zodiac, I just don’t believe Myers. Remember Ralph S. said ALA told him he was Zodiac? Whether that is true or not who knows, but it wouldn’t surprise me. People like to be thought of as "somebody"…even if bad guys.

Was does upset me is these people didn’t come forward while the guy is still alive. If they gave two cents about the victims, they’d have turned this guy in while he was still breathing.

Hi-

Dead men tell no tales, LOL. Maybe that is why he waited. Louie can’t be questioned about any of this just now.

If someone tells you he killed people and then asks you to protect him until after he dies and you agree, are you an accessory after the fact? Just curious…for all the legal minds out there. Shouldn’t this guy have gone to the police as soon as Louie confessed?

And what his home, looks like now.
EDIT: Removed incorrect photo & posted correct photo. Thanks Seagull for catching that. Zam*

Yes. He should have. Whether there are any legal ramifications, I don’t know…I doubt it, but there should be. If it turned out this guy was the Zodiac, I hope these people would at least feel the guilt of helping let a murderer get away with it. But surely the funds for the victims family will make them feel better. NOT.

As told to me:

*Did & delivered drugs, heroin, stole off the top prior to delivery.

*A friend thought he was a bit crazy, and a scary type of individual.
he was always nervous around him, because he had a volatile side
and could go off at the drop of a hat. People were on guard around
him. Wasn’t the type of person to hang out with. because trouble was
always near.

Hi-

The Z murder showed no signs of a volatile personality. That usually leaves a disorganized crime scene and a murder that is committed on the spur of the moment. Z’s murders were obviously carefully planned and thought out (see flashlight gun sight).

Yes, Mike, the murders do not seem the work of a guy who suddenly erupted in anger and if the Stine murder was just a robbery for drug money gone wrong, why even think to take a part of the shirt?

On another note, I am curious if Kenney has any "information" as to why Myers developed the Zodiac persona and sent letters about his crimes? Did Myers show any ability in cryptology? Did Myers express interest in or knowledge of bombs?

Also, the claim that Myers wanted Kenney to write a book and give the proceeds to the victims reminds me of Perez’s statement that any proceeds from her planned documentary would go to "the children."

If I were a family member of a murder victim and found out that someone had information that could have brought the killer to justice, but that person chose not share it until the killer was dead , I sure as heck would not want any proceeds from the person’s book.

Also, are there any plans to do a fingerprint comparison? I assume Myers had his prints taken when he enlisted? Also, he was arrested a variety of times. I would think there would be some prints somewhere? I hope so. It would be interesting to see what comparisons revealed.

If the cops were that interested in the guy, they would arrange for his prints to be compared. My thinking is, they know it’s a dead end and do not want to waste time or resources on it. I agree with them. At best, this Guy grew up in the same town as Zodiac, and decided to pull some of his Friend’s legs. He was 18 during 1969,not 16 as somebody had said to me, but still, looked nothing at all like the sketch, and was skinny too
