Either way, I don’t see him as being even close to what we know about the Zodiac. Too many witnesses saw a older Zodiac, the words he used show a more mature person, however a very sick and evil individual!
I noticed that the information I found on his birth date is not a match to what was on his military papers? One shows June the other is January. I tend to believe what the military papers have , don’t they check everything before someone is able to join? I do believe that Zodiac lived or worked in Vallejo at least from 1968 -1970.Someone looking exactly like my Honcho suspect, was claiming to be Zodiac and was still living in Vallejo in the mid 80’s.He looked close to 50yrs old at that time.
Moved Echoe’s Question, to the thread for Louie Myers.

Thoughts on Louie Myers as a suspect?…

If Zodiac ever joined a Z forum, I’m sure he would have been banned for not following forum rules. Zam’s/Quote

Hi-
Dead men tell no tales, LOL. Maybe that is why he waited. Louie can’t be questioned about any of this just now.
If someone tells you he killed people and then asks you to protect him until after he dies and you agree, are you an accessory after the fact? Just curious…for all the legal minds out there. Shouldn’t this guy have gone to the police as soon as Louie confessed?
Mike
It requires actual knowledge that the person committed the crime and the specific intent to help them get away with it. I’m not sure if Kenny has actual knowledge of Myer’s guilt. The question would come down to whether or not he believed him. In the case of a someone confessing to a 40-year-old crime, I don’t think the charge could hold up because Kenny could never really know if Myers was telling the truth or not. And the other question would be whether Kenny was helping Myers get away with the crime after 40 years when even law enforcement is so skeptical of any Zodiac claims. Accessory after the fact is really meant for a friend, spouse, or girlfriend, etc. who covers up someone’s crime close in time after the events. If someone told me that they committed crimes decades ago on the other side of the country, I am not sure that I have a duty to go to the police simply based upon their confession and nothing more. Since the policy behind the crime is to prevent someone from thwarting law enforcement’s efforts to convict criminals, consider this: the police would not have acted on Myers’ own confession if he walked into the police station and confessed, unless he brought some hard evidence to the table.

I had a few thoughts about Myers when I first heard of him: 1) he was in Germany in the Army during Zodiac’s known hiatus from communications; 2) he relocated to the east coast after discharge from the Army, which could explain why Zodiac didn’t do anything in NorCal after 1974; and, 3) he had the perfect job for serial killer…long haul trucker. He could commit random murders and just leave town, never to be suspected.
He had no reason to confess to being Zodiac twice…two statements against interest…exceptions to hearsay. He told 2 different people decades apart. I read that his grandfather taught him cryptography. I think Ned at Black Box Online Radio relayed a fact from a family member of Myers who said that he named his daughter Cheri. That is quite a coincidence.
However, he does not look like the Paul Stine sketch. He doesn’t fit a power-assertive profile. He is very young to be zodiac. Kenny has no real facts that couldn’t have been learned by just studying the case or doing a basic internet search.
