"There’s literally no evidence to support that nonsense"…

Ed Neil didn’t consider it to be nonsense.
There is indirect evidence – the Robbins children didn’t hear a gunshot,
although Stine was shot with a 9mm bullet, also the cab waybill specified
Washington and Maple as the destination, although the cab with its dead
cabbie ended up at Washington and Cherry.
[EDIT:apparent surname mis-spelling]

The murdered cabbie had not placed the car in park, so it began rolling forward when his lifeless foot fell off the brake.

There’s literally no evidence to support that nonsense.

I think it’s preposterous that you think it’s nonsense when even with evidence, things may not be like what is theorized.

Ed Neill didn’t consider it to be nonsense.

Ed Neil spent $400 on a time machine he bought on ebay, which he then used to travel back to Dec. 20, 1968, when he witnessed William Grant kill Betty and David..

Show me evidence that indicates Zodiac drove a dead guy’s cab a full city block.

I’ll wait.

Just because something is theoretically possible doesn’t make it plausible.

So we are left with there is no evidence to support such a scenario. Which is what I said.

Try visiting Presidio Heights on a busy weekend night. The notion of a cab lurching forward, and then erratically driving to the other end of the block with a struggle taking place in the front seat, with nobody noticing anything amiss, is silly.

Hence the IMO at the end of my post which you seemed to have not read.

Please try putting "IMO" at the beginning next time so poor suckers like myself can skip your "profiling" or whatever it is.

PS:
Zodiac is the subject. You don’t need to constantly refer to him as "offender." Believe it or not, we know who you’re talking about.

Silly maybe to you, but not impossible. Besides, what makes you the expert on what happened? You came up with that whole wig theory out of nowhere and you run with that nonsense, even though there is no proof of that whatsoever, on many of the forums. So, save it.

I never said it was "impossible." I said (for the third time now) there’s no evidence to support the theory.

Besides, what makes you the expert on what happened?

For starters, I met with Dave Toschi. I was brought into the SFPD evidence room. Name another person with those experiences. If I’m not an expert on what happened, nobody is. If you were hiring, I’d get the job. Sorry but it’s true.

I have no idea what you are referring to. Do you?

To whom it may concern…

This thread is called: "He changed, what is the most likely reason?"

So…I presume that this thread ask forum members to give their thoughts on what they believe is the most likely reason for Zodiac to Change.

So…I presume that what people post in this thread does not demand evidence for whatever forum members believe and post as their take on this question.

So.. IMO no need to mock forum members for their posted thoughts on this, even if you yourself mean something completely different.

A general call…be kind :)

Hi, english is not my first language so please bear with me :)

One of the most unusual things about this case is that the Zodiac stopped killing long before he vanished. So when people ask "why did he stop killing?", they need to remember that he kept writing, in fact his writing intensified.

The victims were the foundation to get his message across via the newspapers, is one possibility. Stine completed the foundation.

Well, my pet theory of the moment is that he changed jobs and his victims changed.

The killings until Zodiac have something to do with missiles, computers, etc. Basically high-tech military/NASA stuff. Then the most likely Z crime candidates becomes nurses. Why?

I’ve been doing research on aerospace companies. There are a group of aerospace industry yearbooks from that era that are online. In the early Sixties, the books are mostly about missiles, satellties, spacecraft, etc. By around 1970, you start seeing a shift among the companies toward repurposing the technology for civilian projects, especially in the medical industry. So the best maybe Zs after that have a lot of nurses, and you get the Albany Med Center letter, etc.

This is the Zodiac Theories Forum, right? It’s just a theory.

What did Ray Davis have to do with missiles and computers? Or Cheri Bates? Or Joyce and Johnny and Robert and Linda?

Cheri Bates father worked at the Naval facility at Corona. The Navy developed/tested missiles there. It had one of the largest computer arrays in the United States. He also worked for Lockheed, which had a lot of missile contracts, particularly as the prime contractor on the Polaris missile, which was submarine-based, and subs are what they built at Mare Island.

The ammunition in the Domingos and Edwards case might have been purchased at Vandenberg AFB, where the AF tested missiles and the government launched satellites.

As to the Swindles, I don’t know. That one remains a question mark.

As to Ray Davis, not sure, but one major missile contractor owned a company in Oceanside, and its location was right across the railroad track from where the cab was dumped. Tey might have moved to a different location by then, however.

All of the places you mentioned had other stuff in common, such as cafeterias. The list would be quite long.
