My comment asking if you can see what I see was simply that, the victim looks very much like Harvey’s love interest and I’ve believed that he goes after people that either look like the person who shunned him or had the same or similar name as the one who he felt hurt by. (Nancy (Nancy B.), Cheri (Cheri B.), Esther (being asian), those 2 asians in Sac on the freeway, or in some way the person behaved in a way that triggered his violence, prostitutes, loose women, etc.. I wasn’t saying anything about any person specifically.

And there it is, short, precise and to the point. That is all that needed to be said and not the round about riddles that are like trying to pull teeth.

I agree with your reason for thinking of Harvey concerning this. We know he liked young Asian women. We know he spoke about "whores in Vallejo" and his anger towards women. He seemed to view all women the same way.

That said, I have no idea how to connect him to this person, but looking for relationships, family and friends could be a way to do so. Sandy would be valuable in that but it seems simplicity has thoroughly pissed her off with his riddles.

Once again a good example of your problem. It was a simple request of a fellow researcher to save time by asking to confirm an address. That’s how it works, or should work, not telling them "yeah, I know, screw you, go find it yourself".

I understand it’s frustrating when others don’t see things the same way you do, but being an ass about it doesn’t solve anything.

I’ve been in agreement with you and relentless that Harvey is worthy of investigation, a few others have as well, but you don’t seem to want to work with them unless they agree with you on every aspect.

You really need to change your attitude and start trying to work with those people instead of against them. You are chasing people away with your inability to give straight forward information and instead insist everyone take your word on it or search through thousands of pages of files to find something you could give a quick and short reply to.

That sounds paranoid. Perhaps you should give things a break. It’s all just words on the internet that mean nothing in our every day lives, it can’t be taken too seriously.

I sent a message to Sandy just a little while ago explaing that a giant set of coincidences occurred with names , times, locations that ultimately do not correlate with the people in these cases.

I hope everyone can understand that dead ends occur.

That’s what I have been saying all along. This aspect was worth looking into but it’s a dead end as of now. Something might turn up in the future however.

I wonder if Vallejo ever developed a suspect in this case. She was at the Enlisted Men’s club on Mare island so someone must have seen something. Sandy, have you heard anything about a suspect in this case?

No and as far as I know it is still unsolved.

How in the world could my suspect even remember that case from so many years ago and send me the clue that he was her killer? He also claimed Jenny Lynn in Castro Valley Ca. 1994. If he was Deana’s killer, then he probably was living in Vallejo.

I never heard of the Hooper case until I received that letter with the drawing of my suspect and the two victims. I knew that the main clue was the Kite, but that didn’t make any sense to me at all. I asked everyone on the Z sites, if they knew what a E Passion kite was that was written in the letter to me from my suspect? I was told it was a Asian kite or Chinese Kite. It was a long time before I was able to start connecting the dots.

Then later reading about her in Lyndon Lafferty’s book. What Lyndon wrote about her in his book was the only information I found at that time.
Later going to the Vallejo Library and reading the newspapers. I read past that date, looking to see if there were any suspects in her case , but didn’t find any.

I would very much like to show that letter to a cold case Detective at Vallejo PD , to see if it could help that case at all? I wanted to show it to Det.Terry Poyser, but it is almost impossible to catch him when he isn’t busy with something else. LE do not have to have an envelope to get DNA , they can get touch DNA from just the letter.

Strange note,kept it and also told others about her finding. 2) Feb. 2012, LL spoke to Sandy and myself about Deana Hooper3) I recalled someone looking for their Aunt with that name4) Feb 2012 went to library to research Deana Hooper5) Sunday Feb 26, 2012 Went to St. Johns Mine Road/Columbus Parkway, Swett Ranch 6) Saw crime location for Deana Hooper. St. Johns Mine Road & Columbus Parkway7) Newspaper articles show victim was found by Kite flyers.8 ) Made Sandy flashed on this strange note she received. Note was received prior to us having any knowledge of this crime. I recall Sandy sharing this note and information withme a long time ago.

This letter/drawing is very child like, which reminds me of the same style Z did with the Cheri Jo Bates letters. When I first glanced at it, I thought some child drew this ? But knowing that I get different very strange objects left near or on my front porch,by my poi, I kept it. From time to time I would look at it and still wonder if my poi did leave it, it has to be a clue to something ? The kites seemed to be the main clue, and the words E passion kite . I asked several people if they knew what a E passion kite was ? I received a few answers back , that it was a Asian kite or Chinese. That still meant nothing to me, the two girls on either side of who I am pretty sure is my poi . ( Because of his eye he drew on the male) I don’t remember ever seeing him with the crew cut he drew, but I do know that Zodiac was suppose to have one at the Stine shooting. Who ever my poi is he is doing his best to try and prove to me that he is the Zodiac.(See possible victim thread on Deana Hooper) The two females, I thought were my friend and myself. The one standing next to the sign post I though was me , because I took his picture at Lyons, I thought the sign read Lyon’s. Sense then Tahoe and a few others saw it as Lynn.I do have a victim with that last name, but it is spelled differently. (She was Asian )It sat for a couple of yrs , I would look to see if any of it made sense , it still didn’t. Until a few weeks back ,when Zam and I were asked to look up a victim for a friend of ours. Her name was Deana Hooper 18 yrs old went missing July 74 -found March 75 , by a man and his son who were flying kites ! She was adopted from a Chinese orphanage by the Hooper family. Of all the things I have shared with Zamantha, this one sort of freaked her out. Probably because she saw it from the beginning. I have had other things a lot more scary, but she wasn’t there to see it happen like this one.Therestill could be things we have missed on this letter/ drawing, if any of you spot something please don’t hesitate to post it. Thanks again Zamantha, Do you still have a copy of that "Hi Pookie" letter? I am pretty sure that you put it in my POI thread , most of the pictures were removed when Photo shop decided to charge for them.

One we missed that another poster spotted was where he wrote " I just wanted you to know". I don’t remember which letter Zodiac used those words off the top of my head at this moment.

Deana Hooper was last seen on July 11th 1974 at the Enlisted Men’s Club at Mare Island at the Naval Inshore Operations Training Center. Nine years earlier Diane Gerrish was found murdered in the Presidio Park on August 30th 1965. She was a regular visitor to the Fort Scott Presidio Enlisted Men’s Club, a log cabin on Presidio Hill.
