This case has received a lot of attention lately! Morfs Pod casts really helped a lot of people learn more about this case.
Wonderful news!

News conference set for Wednesday afternoon. If this is true and it pans out, and it’s confirmed, that’s really fantastic news.

It’s 100% legit, 100% DNA match-he was also the Visalia Ransacker

Right. If they do have a DNA match than that seals it.

I got a chance to know and work with a sister of a victim and the daughter of a victim, Morf did as well, so we both know how much this means to their lives, how much a sense of justice and a sense of peace this will bring to them.

DNA will be the clincher here.

Interesting the guy used to be a police officer in Auburn. Was fired after caught shop lifting a hammer and dog repellent.

This is huge! Gives some closure for the women/families affected.

Also gives us some hope that one day, our guy, Zodiac, will be found!

Great news and congratulations, Morf. I never imagined that less than a year after your presentation at Crimecon, we would be discussing GSK’s arrest. Given that he was a police officer, I wonder if he actually WAS at that town-hall meeting where the guy who ranted about GSK was later attacked. I was thinking he could have followed the guy out of the meeting afterwards to get his plate number.

Hope all the stolen Jewelry, China, Silverware & etc. are in his home. Maybe on display in his China hutch.
Geeze, and he looks similar to a couple composites.

Truly AMAZING! Great work on the podcast, This will make for an interesting last few episodes!

I’m actually shocked he was also the Visalia Ransacker. They just seemed like very different descriptions.

Fantastic! Some closure for the victims’ families. The detectives must be feeling good about their career choice today, too.

According to NBC Los Angeles, law enforcement had received a tip: "A tip from the public pointed detectives to a man who was taken into custody overnight in the decades-old Golden State Killer case, law enforcement sources told NBC4. The tip followed renewed attention stemming from a book and recent documentary about the series of rapes, slayings and residential burglaries across California that began in the mid-1970s, the law enforcment officials said. "

This is precisely the reason why I’m all for new book releases, documentaries, anything that can bring attention to a case that might seem cold and old enough to be not worthwhile of such attention. But the thing is, you never know who might read or see it and suddenly remember something that connects the dots.

I truly hope one day we could read news like this, with Zodiac’s name on it.

Agreed, hopefully someday.

I have to ask, should we look at this guy for Zodiac? He was ex-Navy and ex-police? I know very little about the EAR/ON case so maybe someone in the know can inform me.

Morf, I and every other single researcher, detective or investigator was wrong about the suspect in this case.

But Morf was correct in stating that ONS was previously the Visalia Ransacker, something I believed and wrote about as well.

Also Morf did groundbreaking research on a possible Ground Zero for EAR/ONS, the concentration of early break-ins, dog killings and rapes in the Dawes and Dolcetto area of Rancho Cordova in Sacramento. I will be very curious to see if it turns out if this suspect has ties to that area.

An early indication is that he might. He attended American River College, which is in Sacramento, I think not too far from that area, the American River itself goes right through the ground zero area that Morf identified and he lived in Citrus Heights, which is right across from the Rancho Cordova area identified by Morf.

Morf, myself and Traveller1st created the map of that Rancho Cordova area that had such a high concentration of early EAR/ONS crimes. The three of us also created a California map that showed the movement of ONS, and in that map we pointed out the suspect likely attended UC Davis as we identified that there was a concentration of crimes in that area as well. It turns out that we were right on that issue, as this suspect also went to college at UC Davis.

"The answer has always been in Sacramento".

Can’t help but think of Zodiac. Does he still lurk in Vallejo, S.F., etc?
