We like to joke around a lot here. Maybe that is not exactly appropriate, but I consider it a form of levity. Because I know that everyone here takes this very seriously, it’s good to not take it so seriously sometimes. But when it comes to the general population, I am more sensitive about Zodiac related humor because I feel like it’s coming from a place where people are already misinformed and don’t really feel like it’s a real tragedy.

Well let’s not discuss politics or politicians in general unless it directly relates to the case. Ted Cruz as zodiac is worthy of discussion since people are spreading word that he is zodiac, however opinions of him himself, go into political discussion which is not permitted

The whole thing is stupid, but if this board was about Satan, well, we’d probably talk about a meme that tried to equate a politician to Satan (though that is pretty generic, and I’m pretty sure every well know politician has been compared to Satan at one time or another). It’s not the politics, it’s the pop culture value of something niche we talk about here everyday being brought into the mainstream or at least internet culture.

I think it’s more that it’s about the phenom of ted cruz as Zodiac and not about Ted Cruz as a person. Whether or not he is a moron has bearing on a discussion about him as a politician, but not very much on whether he is the Zodiac or not.

The thing that upsets me the most is the younger generation reading this whole thing and thinking it is true, even though Cruz was not born until 1971 (?). So now when I do google searches, I have to sift through all the "Cruz is Zodiac" crap.
