Do either of the pod-casters have opinions as to why the cab was found a block farther West of the fare’s requested destination?
Guess they don’t…maybe Zodiac saw a man walking his dog?
My opinion is.,..he was a guy walking his dog

I think police have better luck finding a suspects height when they ask a witness if the perpetrator was taller, shorter, or the same height as the witness themselves. The more witnesses you have of varying height, the more accurately you can guesstimate a number. Asking "how tall were they?" in context of just wanting a number in return seems unreliable. I have problems judging height, and I feel like most people do.When there is a significant difference in height, judging another persons height seem even more unreliable, especially from kids. Hartnell probably has the best guesstimate.

Podcasters are probably sticking to the known facts of the case for this podcast. Any comments about that would be speculative.
The Zodiac did say
I am the murderer of the taxi driver over by Washington St + Maple St last night….
But the cab was found akimbo to the kerb at Washington + Cherry.
That was too much!
Akimbo. Kerb.
This is supposed to be a serious discussion.
Had to google that one myself.

Yes and the word doesn’t apply whatsoever.

I suggest you think that one over a bit.

The eyewitnesses indicated to Officer Pelissetti that the offender was still visible walking away, up Cherry Street when Pelissetti arrived.
Has anyone made any "measurements/guesstimates" as to how far away from them the killer might have been at that point? Perhaps an investigator who spoke with those eyewitnesses?

267 feet on Google maps from the southern edge of Cherry to the intersection with Jackson. So obviously slightly less when Lindsey first pointed out Zodiac. Probably somewhere around 250 feet would be a reasonable estimate.

The adjective akimbo originates from the Middle English phrase in kenebowe, which means "at a sharp angle", commonly used in respect to limbs. Askew was probably meant.

The kids were also on the third floor looking down across the street at night through some fog. Not ideal conditions for a detailed facial sketch IMO.

Each day we learn something new.
Thank you, Richard. What’ll be next on?

Definately not. I always wondered how close (or perhaps, how far) the sketch falled from his actual appearance.
Also, Richard, Morf, Tom, anyone: how was the car engine still running when found if he took the keys from the ignition?
Plus: what do we actually know about Paul Stine’s glasses? Were they in with the evidence? He took them? Were they somehow misplaced?
and what happened to the alleged Zodiac Killer gloves men’s 7 if I do recall correctly? Why no info on these two in the podcast? Do we know nothing factual about them?

Also, there’s this (I know it is little of a stretch, but it is in the files). I suppose that the suspects will have their own episode or episodes?
(and I don’t suppose that this particular person will have his own spotlight)

In case anyone has questions about the Presidio Heights area as it pertains to the Stine murder, I created this page back in 2004 when I lived there: https://zodiackiller.com/PresidioHeights2004.html
And also this page covering Zodiac’s likely escape route: https://zodiackiller.com/ZEscapeRoute.html
For both pages, begin at the upper-left column and work your way down.
I think it’s important to note that directly north of Cherry Street is a large hill. Had Zodiac attempted to enter the Presidio at that point he would have had to trudge up that large hill which would have delayed his escape. Turning east and then north on Spruce or Maple would have better facilitated his escape into the Presidio.
