Ugh I hate seeing that the Napa fire is only 5% contained today. Thoughts are with the firefighters and responders. This has been a very dangerous fire season all over CA. Big Bear closer to me had a horrible one as well recently.
A few days ago:
"A brush fire in the Lake Berryessa area of Napa County has burned approximately 6,000 acres and is about five percent contained, according to information released by Cal Fire this morning."

whenever i talk about it, my brain always slows down around that phrase so i don’t accidentally say "homophobic substitution".
Let’s hope, then, that no one ever speaks of the extinct "Homo Erectus."
