Has anyone been watching Gotham? It’s not very accurate, but I like it so far.

Gotham isn’t accurate to what? Are you Batman?

I watched the first episode, but much like NBC’s comic book show Constantine, it seemed like a premise that was entertaining for an hour and that I wouldn’t much like to see carry on for an entire series. I might catch up on in after the end of the season when there is nothing else to watch.

Character wise I meant… the acting is solid, though, and the writing seems ok so far. The show has done just enough to keep my interest so far.

Last time I went to Juarez was 2009, and they had military people with assault rifles on every corner. Crazy!

Not a movie but a book — I’m about half-way through "Mr. Mercedes" by Stephen King. Really good cat-and-mouse game with a killer and a recently retired detective. I haven’t been able to put the book down since I bought it a couple days ago.

I’ve got every episode of Better Call Saul recording, I only watched the first two. I am also behind by a few episodes on The Americans. Justified in speeding towards a climax too. And I only watched one episode of Finding Bigfoot. Lots of stuff to catch up on.

Really looking forward to the Walking Dead spinoff. which should be out this fall.

I’m watching the Alamo, starring John Wayne and Richard Widmark. I’ve must have seen it 100 times. It’s one of my favorite movies. What a good movie it is.

Forensic Files and Cause of Death. I could watch them all day.

Never watched a single episode of the phony stuff like CSI, but the real deal…worth every minute. You’d be surprised at the things one can learn from it.

Those real crime shows are very good. I like to watch them on television too. I like Charlie Chan and Mr. Motto movies. They are great detectives and always catch the culprits.

Better Call Saul is a little slow and boring, but still good. And it’s just going to get better as time goes on. Same thing happened with Breaking Bad. Started slow but really got good at the end of Season 1.

I just watched the series finale of "Justified" tonight. And I’m sorry to see this underrated show go away. It was based on Elmore Leonard’s story FFS.
Oh well, I liked it, it was well done and literate and less appreciated than it should have been. It’s OK.

Are you a Stephen King fan? I ask because I am and I’ve been disappointed in his stuff lately. He wrote a book called Joyland about a murder/haunted amusement park, I thought it was going to be good, but it really felt phoned in to me.

For trucrime, anyone watch the show Bait Car? Police put hidden cameras and tracking on a car, leave it in a parking lot with the keys in and the door unlocked and then arrest the people who try to steal it. It’s so moronic and sad that apparently people’s entire thought process/motivation is "there’s a car, I guess I should steal it." and the whole time they are saying, "This is too good to be true. I’m probably going to get arrested for this…" and that police have nothing better to do than to set that up.
