So….

What did everybody think of Negan’s grand entrance last night on WD? Actor Jeffery Dean Morgan did an awesome job I thought bringing that manical super villain to life

There is more than one way to lose your life to a killer

What is WD? Sorry, probably a really dumb question.

EDIT: Nevermind, I’m a dunce.

I guess he was an OK actor, but I thought it was such a lame and cheap cliffhanger. Just like what they did earlier this season with Glenn. This season just sucked.

I recorded Zodiac and watched it today. Really? Very disappointing.

Orphan Black’s new season is coming on this week on BBC.

House of Cards

River (Netflix)

Hinterland (NF)

Broadchurch (NF)

When I need something light I watch Doc Martin on Neflix. I can pick it up anywhere and it’s still really clever. IMO.

Which Zodiac movie did you watch? Out of the movies, in chronological order, The Zodiac Killer ’71, Zodiac killer 2004, The Zodiac 2005, and Zodiac 2007, only the 2004 one was really awful and that was because it had nothing to do with the actual events.

I used to like Orphan Black but I thought it jumped the shark when it started introducing the new batch of clones and haven’t watched it since.

I’ve only seen the 2007 movie. I don’t know how to access any of the others. Should probably check out YouTube.

The first two seasons of Orphan Black were very interesting but you’re right, it’s lost some steam but I will still record the new season.

I like to watch "ChiPs" and Charlies Angels, and other shows filmed in LA, to see where they filmed outside the studio. Chips had allot of freeway scenes on I think freeways that were being built. Sometimes the cars look like they are going 25mph, and the same cars are used. I also when they film outside LA. I think there was an area that was used for car chase scenes in Dukes of Hazard with a meadow, a pond and trees that was used in Star Trek, Bonanza and other shows. And the Lake from the Andy Griffith show that was used in Chips and Wonder Women.

On today’s Charlies Angels, there was a "Most Dangerous Game" where the angels were lured to an island and hunted down!

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Anyone watching the new netflix documentary The Confession Tapes? It’s about people who supposedly gave false criminal confessions. Thanks to Making a Murderer, wrongful conviction stories seem to be popular now.

I didn’t watch a lot of documentaries before Ken Burns, but my idea of what they were was live footage of an event, hence the name. But after movies like Supersize Me and Michael Moore’s film’s, the notion has seemed to me to have become a movie that uses real footage, but the "story" is not a real event, and in theses cases where it’s trying to convince you of something, it might not even be telling the truth.

Has it always been like that, or is that a recent thing?

This show in particular, and a lot of true crime shows, are really frustrating because they want to tell a story so they withhold information and dole it out till the end to make it into a mystery, even though it’s a real event that already happened and there is no mystery.

I’m also confused as to what exactly the point of it is. If these people gave false confessions, and they didn’t even do a very good job of convincing me that some of them are in fact innocent, so what?

I guess the logical conclusion of that premise is that we shouldn’t convict people based on confessions. Well, that’s obviously a dumb idea because most people who confess really are guilty. Unless we are supposed to think that is not the case and that most people who confess are innocent? I don’t think it makes that claim, let alone proves it.

My guess is that it’s just supposed to make people mad and make them stop using their brains. That’s a shame because I think it could have explored interesting ideas with that premise.
